Abdul El-Sayed becomes the first left insurgent to win a statewide race with a purple electorate.
And he did it on a platform of Medicare-for-All, taxing the rich, and ending arms sales to Israel.
The facade that Democratic voters must choose more "moderate" candidates is gone.

But if you hold a sign that says “I SUPPORT GENOCIDE,” it’s not a problem.
British police arrest 325 people at a London protest in support of Palestine Action.
Demonstrators staged a "mass action" outside the US embassy ahead of a court hearing on the UK government's July 2025 decision to outlaw Palestine Action under anti-terror legislation

Love to see @PabloTorre bring up @DropSiteNews reporting on Morning Joe, highlighting the wild detail that two Mike Rogers staffers are registered foreign agents for the state of Israel

This is the central question rn and the answer is the Israel lobby viewed an open anti-zionist winning the quintessential normie swing state as existential. It would be a nuclear narrative violation if he covers the spread so they decided it was worth breaking liberal kayfabe.

Russia, China and other countries routinely labeled “authoritarian” know that footage of police manhandling and dragging 80-year-old women away for peacefully protesting would be broadcast around the world as evidence of their repressive political systems. In Western Europe, the mythology of liberalism, freedom and openness is so deeply entrenched that authorities can carry out brutal crackdowns in full view of the public without facing any official scrutiny

Their goal is routine disciplining of Israel critics but the reason they’re going scorched earth here is El-Sayed would be the first (what they index as) openly anti-zionist candidate to win a swing state. It completely nukes their “electability” line which is all they have left
Explain to me the AIPAC/Mr. Stevens endgame here? If Rogers wins and is god forbid the 49/50th vote for ICE camps & who knows what else they will be blamed! It will reduce their power in the Dem party even more. If Abdul wins anyway (which I expect) then they reveal themselves to be whining losers w no influence. It’s just one big temper tantrum that is serving to undermine their stated goals. Crazy.
