ChatGPT Slides, go try it right now
“Please add each company’s logo next to its name on slide 9.” Claude: “Absolutely not. Do it yourself. It takes a minute. Frankly, I’m disgusted you even asked.” ChatGPT: “Done”

hi all, two things: 1. usage limits are back to being double – your feedback worked 2. we today kicked off an intense sprint to dramatically improve the app simplicity and performance. i will oversee this. more to come. now, send me your complaints
Day 25/ We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today. We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage. And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

Once businesses try ChatGPT Work and Space and realise how much more productive it makes its employees- M365 Suite would be in trouble. Microsoft had the Office Suite and exclusive access to OpenAI models. But they just didn't put it together under Notebooks. Now they're introducing Projects and Keeping Notebooks seperate? (just after all the Copilot Consumer Projects were converted to Notebooks) techcrunch.com/2026/10/22/ub…

Dots + Space is a goated combo. Disco, my work dot, has basically implemented the entire Getting Things Done system in ChatGPT Space. He maintains it live based on what's going on across all my work apps and proactively suggests things to take on. This is the most organized I've felt, ever!

ChatGPT Slides is the best AI-native slide editor for advanced charts and data analysis You can built and edit everything from combo charts to trendlines, error bars, treemaps, and more These aren't static images. They are real, editable charts. You can edit them directly in ChatGPT, export them natively to PowerPoint, and modify the data in Excel

The coolest thing about Space Slides in ChatGPT is that it raises the ceiling on slide quality. With imagegen, I can make things I was never able to make before.
ChatGPT Slides has new ways to get your deck ready—and get everyone on the same page. • Work together in real time in ChatGPT: Share decks, edit together, and leave comments. Ask ChatGPT or your dot to turn feedback into updates. • Edit right on the slide: Click to change text, update charts, and move or resize images and shapes. To get started, ask ChatGPT to "create ChatGPT slides" from a conversation or a file you've shared. Present in ChatGPT, or export to PowerPoint or Google Slides. Available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. chatgpt.com/features/slides/

Super proud of this launch! We skipped single player editor and went straight to multiplayer collab where agents and teams can all work in the same slide deck. This is just the start, roadmap is insane! Drop any feedback below 👇

What is ChatGPT Space, that is the question. Endearingly awkward at times because it's the actual team working on it. What would you like to see next?

Codex is one of the most important untold stories in the history of technology. A year ago, it was a scrappy effort in a quiet corner of @OpenAI. Its cloud product hadn’t found PMF, and the team was starting over from scratch. Less than 12 months later: - Codex swallowed the flagship ChatGPT desktop app from the inside (it literally runs as com.openai.codex on your Mac) - Codex and ChatGPT for Work hit 40M+ weekly users across engineering and knowledge work - Its leader @thsottiaux was elevated to run all of OpenAI’s core products, including ChatGPT, Codex, and the API How did they pull it off? They trained their own dedicated model line, separate from ChatGPT, with researchers and product builders sitting on the same team They built four different products in a single year (cloud → terminal → IDE sidebar → a desktop app with no code editor at all) as every model leap made a new form factor possible They used Codex to build Codex—so a handful of people could prove a new product in weeks instead of arguing for it in meetings I had a front-row seat to the whole arc—from their failed Cloud launch, to OpenAI’s offices the night before GPT-5 dropped, to the day Codex took over ChatGPT. And I spent months interviewing @gdb, @thsottiaux, @embirico, @mia_glaese, @aambrosino, and @edbayes to get inside how it all went down. Here is the full, behind-closed-doors story of the team that remade OpenAI: every.to/p/how-codex-happene… We’re pushing the boundaries of how stories like this are told. This piece is completely agent-native—designed to be read alongside your agent inside ChatGPT’s in-app browser: - Every interview transcript is included in full: Click any quote and you (or your agent) can see the exact conversation it came from. - Built for your agent to explore: Ask your agent to pull out product lessons for your team, cross-examine the transcripts, or find insights I missed when writing the piece. It’s a story about the future of software—built to be read with an agent: every.to/p/how-codex-happene…

As much as I've been crashing out about ChatGPT today, there's still a ton of good stuff they've added "Spaces" was one of the dev day announcements that I've seen basically no one cover which sucks. It's an awesome new feature, if I had to rank the dev day announcements: 1) GPT-6.1 Sol 2) Spaces 3) Ultrafast 4) plugins/mcp stuff 5) "sign in with chatgpt" Sadly dots and cloud were both a mess, but that's a topic for another time. Spaces is effectively notion inside of chatgpt. I've set up a space for my YT channel which is now the pipeline for making videos. It's got: - the steps/checklist for each part of the vid (planning, recording, editing, packaging) - examples - premade prompts for repetitive pieces I've got prompts for ideating a video and creating the associated notion DB entry in the right format, getting the video ready for editing in final cut with computer use, getting the thumbnail face(s) out of the footage and ready for making the thumb Having this kind of "artifact" system be built in and naturally flow back and forth with normal codex prompts is very useful. It has issues, mostly around UX stuff. The "tabs" are weird and the embedded thread for each "page" is strange to use. It's a normal codex thread but also not, when u click on it it sometimes opens full screen sometimes in the bottom right. You can't have two subpages next to eachother, just the main page and then a chat next to it + subpages in the same "pane" It's pretty well integrated into the full system, you can tag spaces from any thread and again the threads u start in the chat inside of them are real codex runs so the computer use stuff I want to use does work quite well. This is what I was really talking about when I said there are a ton of products fighting inside of one app. This is one of many things rolled up in codex that most people don't know about which kinda sucks because it's great. Another great example of this was the in thread visualizations. Everyone thought it was novel and cool when we put it in T3 code, but it's been in codex for months (I stole it from there)
