Replying to @rivaleio
@rivaleio just got approved as a community connector for Claude. 🤘
Soon you'll be able to ask Claude or Claude Code about your market and get answers from your Rivale data: your plugins, your competitors, how they moved.

"If you want your Claude to remember something, add it to CLAUDE.md."
That's what the experts keep sharing. Partially correct, mostly misleading.
I did it. A specific rule at the very top of the CLAUDE.md file: check schema before writing SQL.
AI works faster than I can remember what it did.
If I don't internalize it, I don't understand it.
Without understanding, I don't remember it.
And without remembering, there's no knowledge.
The new constraint isn't speed anymore. It's orientation.

Here's what I learned the hard way: a rule in your files competes with everything else in the context. It can be ignored. A prompt instruction, even a well-structured one, same thing.
What can't be ignored is a hook: matteoduo.com/corrections-be…
Charts tell you what happened. They stop before what to do about it.
Say a competitor cuts their Pro price. @rivaleio lays out what changed, the dated evidence, and the moves to make: check your pricing, update your comparison page.

Haven't figured out how often WordPress businesses check competitor updates.
My first @rivaleio cohort split:
‣ one team tracked rankings w/ custom scripts
‣ one user asked for daily and weekly
‣ one called it a lower-level benefit

The Rivale Diff is @rivaleio's monthly report on the #WordPress plugin market.
It combines public data and Rivale's own records of what changed.

Issue 3 lands next week. 📥
I read a lot of AI-setup content. Early on, I genuinely learned from it. Then I stalled: those lists describe what breaks for other people.
My #AI fails in my own stack, on my recurring blind spots.
Once you see it as a list, you can build against it: the review reminder became a hook that always fires, the verbosity complaint became an output style, and so on.
Best-practice lists are a great starting point. Your own session history is the foundation: matteoduo.com/mine-your-own-…
Have you ever asked your #AI what months of your history say about how you two actually work?
