This isn’t just politics as usual. We’re in a crisis & need leaders at every level who confront it with urgency.
I’m running for the MD House to fight back against Trump's administration and build an alternative: real workers' rights, the best schools, & an end to gun violence.
It is official. This campaign— to represent the community that made me who I am, to bring new urgency to our politics, to fight for the future we deserve— has won.
In a few months, I will be sworn in as the youngest Democrat in our state legislature.
These are difficult times. We must move urgently to reearn the trust of those who’ve lost faith in our democracy: holding this administration accountable, lowering utility bills, investing in schools, & standing up to Big Tech. We must show, in this state, a different way forward
Maryland: polls close at 8 PM. It is time to make our voices heard!
Vote Yes on Question 3, Omar Lazo for School Board, and Dems up and down the ballot!

The early voting data suggests that Gen Z is turning out in unprecedented numbers for a midterm in Maryland.
We must keep the momentum going on Election Day to win the future we deserve: the fairest economy, the best schools, and real accountability for the Trump administration.
Knocking doors for Omar Lazo for School Board, Yes on Question 3, and Dems down the ballot!
Montgomery County Democrats are fired up and ready to be part of the big, unbeatable blue wave on November 3rd.
Trump’s allies are counting on Marylanders assuming their vote doesn’t matter. That’s false. Your ballot has big choices that’ll decide how our state can fight back against this administration.
Vote Yes on Question 3, Omar Lazo for MoCo School Board, & Democrats down the ballot.
My op-ed in today’s Baltimore Sun:
Gov. Moore is right: if Congress won’t protect us from AI, Maryland must act.
Thanks to Gov. Moore & Sen. Hester, we have a head start. I look forward to working this legislative session on urgently needed AI safeguards

Thanks to many years of community advocacy, we have a brand new Burtonsville Elementary School, and it is a model for how public buildings can protect the planet these kids will inherit.
Grateful for Gov Moore’s leadership on this urgent challenge for our state.
I’m looking forward to working this legislative session on AI safety measures to protect all Marylanders: independent safety evaluations of these companies, worker protections, and biosecurity safeguards
🚨 We’re announcing state guidelines to ensure Maryland continues to lead the nation on AI safety and accountability.
Read our plan at go.md.gov/AIGamePlan.
I join Sen. Chris Van Hollen in calling for urgent federal AI regulation. This technology is already enabling cyberattacks, displacing workers, and creating viruses.
But if Congress can’t act, our state needs to step up, just like IL, CA, & NY, & pass reasonable guardrails on AI
Introducing the brand new Burtonsville Elementary School!
The first net zero energy school in MoCo + in a new location where the vast majority of students can walk to school.
Grateful to all the PTA & community leaders whose advocacy made this new building possible!
Huge thank you to the first responders, local businesses, civic groups, and county government partners who put on an amazing National Night Out in East County and Olney!
Congratulations to @mattlpost on his successful run as a Democratic nominee for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 14! Onward to victory in November!
Because of you, we won this race.
I’m proud to be the Democratic nominee to represent the community that made me who I am. I’ll work with everything I have to live up to your trust.
To all who knocked doors, spread the word, or pitched in: I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you
It is Election Day.
You only have until 8 PM TODAY to cast your ballot.
To win the fairest economy, the best schools, the strongest pushback to this authoritarian administration, and the state we deserve, you must vote for it.
Let’s win this thing.
