Matthew Wright - OLYMPIAN. Sweet off ๐.
What a day, unbelievable. Thank you to every person who played apart in this journey, and the support today. Out of this world. More to follow, but for now, want to take some time to take it all in ๐๐ผ๐ง๐ง.

14:38 at the @Cardiff5K today to open my racing season.
First time Iโve raced a 5km without a swim and bike before it for over 10 years, and a 2 second PB. 200bpm avg heat rate for 15mins to get there ๐ฎโ๐จ
Just 18 seconds off the Barbados record of 14:20. Summer project ๐๐ค?!
Nothing like a final hard session of a 25 hour training week being a 5km road race. Sufferation ๐ฅด.
Happy to run 14:38 for 5km @Cardiff5K.
Always fancied a go at the Barbados record of 14:20 but the triathlon season never allowed it. Post Olympic year, now may be the time ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ?
