The fact we never got a full blown, multi series biographical drama of Lenin, written by Trevor Griffiths and starring Patrick Stewart is a crime.
It's so funny that the only character from «Fall of Eagles» who gets this on-screen honourary type text is Lenin because of the influence of the UK labour movement

We should nationalise the land in Britain with no compensation; doing so is a basic prerequisite for economic development & re-industralisation, anyone who suggests otherwise is telling porkies. It's a finite resource & a common treasury for all.

It just occured to me that since #AvengersSecretWars hasn't started filming yet, and will him having now passed away, we will never get to hear Patrick Stewart issue the iconic rallying cry: "To me, my X-Men!"

Britain's gross external debt is over £7 trillion, China's is £1.5 trillion. China has a population of 1.4 billion people, Britain has 70 million. If you swap the population sizes & scale the debts accordingly, China would owe £75 billion, whilst Britain would owe £140 trillion.

I'm just glad I don't live in a dictatorship but a free democracy where every few years I can vote for a different banker or lawyer or landlord that represents the vast network of powerful corporate interests that controls every aspect of my life from cradle to grave

It turns out Elon Musk really is the real life Iron Man after all.
Tony Stark really bought the source code for his AI assistants and then acted like the genius who built everything from scratch. 💀 J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H. owe more to someone else than Tony would ever admit. 💀

The US embargo against Cuba has been going on for 64 years. Every year, this vote happens at the UN, but it is non-binding and cannot legally force the US to lift the sanctions. The 17 countries that voted against the resolution have a direct alignment with US foreign policy. Ecuador and Argentina have also shifted toward right-wing leadership. I understand the symbolic reasoning behind this vote, but how long do the Cuban people have to suffer because America is worried about a non-existent threat
NOW: World majority demands an end to the U.S. blockade on Cuba for the 34th time, in annual UN vote. Vote board:

Prospectivr Labour MPs in fifty years time (should the party still exist): "Me Grandad's Grandad's Grandad was a miner!"
Just remembered that bloke who ran to be a Labour candidate and his pitch was "My Grandad was the son of a miner."

I also think Billy will put Hex Vision's soul in White Vision's body - making him whole again - like how he put his own in William Kaplan's and Tommy's in Thomas Shepherd's. #VisionQuest
It's pretty obvious that Ultron will eventually end up sacrificing himself to save Vision from Jocasta. As Ultron himself said about the Ship of Theseus: "When a monster has your son, don't be the Ship, be the King." #VisionQuest

Just thinking back to the ill-fated Yorp Central Executive Committee elections, I think the most striking feature was how apolitical the majority of candidates were; most thought they were running for a management board, not the collective political leadership of the Party.

Even members were seemingly clueless of its role; one told me it was good that I lost because the Central Executive Committee was - despite being the collective political leadership of the party - a non-political body.
I guess you didn’t realise that the CEC is a non political role. Probably best you didn’t get in then. There will be a time and place for your contribution regarding policy. The CEC is organisational.

It's probably a good thing that it is dead tbh. It could've been something decent, but was strangled at birth by a coalition of careerists and boomer social democrats in support of an unelected and unaccountable Party Monarchy and its Court. Sad.
