Have a StreamDeck and using Grok Bot heavily? I have something for you.

Would you recognize this woman if you spoke with her for an hour at a party?

Don't use the Chrome DevTools MCP to check a version upgrade. Have the agent script headless Chrome. Our Tailwind v4 check: 92 screenshots (23 pages, light and dark, v3 vs v4) and a pixel diff of each, in minutes. The MCP would need close to 200 tool calls.

I had Claude audit my running processes, startup items, unused apps, etc. ....soooo much cruft cleaned out of my Mac, it's like I just downloaded a new stick of ram into it.

Each week I try out one or two new AI skills/tools, mostly focused on the coding and productivity side of things. What new should I try this week? What are you using?

Did you know? Claude Code can run on a timer in two places, and the one you pick decides what the job can reach.

Scheduled tasks run on your own computer through the Claude Desktop app. They can work with local files, your logged-in browser and MCP servers you've set up locally, but they only fire while the machine is awake and the app is open.

Rule of thumb: if the job needs your repo and the web, make it a routine. If it needs your machine, make it a scheduled task. Neither one listens for messages. A routine can post to Slack, but you can't message it from Slack.

Fired up a grokbot to monitor new CVEs and map if they affect any of my repos as there's such a storm of them now it's nuts.

Google Trends is notoriously bad and it's hard to split out some of these terms, but this chart I think pretty indicative of the current relative adoption rate of Grokbot, Hermes, OpenClaw and Muse.

Imagine you have millions of documents with mentions of people, but not proper unique identifiers. How do you sort out Jane Doe 123 from Jane Doe 234? You use this amazing piece of FOSS software: Splink moj-analytical-services.gith…

Disposable AI Agents are going to be a "thing". Yesterday there was a big PHP security vulnerability and due to weirdness with the disclosure timeline there was a ton of information (good and bad) about what to do for mitigation. Setup a Grokbot for a single day just to monitor sites/socials and filter out the consensus recommendations. Hugely beneficial.
