Nice to know TFG’s long term manager plan for Everton had Dyche stayed until the summer of 2025 was Cesc Fabregas who’s Como side are currently winning 7-1 in the Champions League.

Quite amazing how Arsenal have the ability to bore the opposition into defeat. #LIVARS
Jesus Villa have managed to make a post more cringeworthy than this.

Having watched the debate (or shouting match depending how you at it) it just shows how nuanced the whole argument is.
Did City purely win the lot because of the money pumped into the club? No.
Plenty of teams (Man Utd mainly) have spent a lot of money very poorly.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣
He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage.
City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.
Did it allow them to build a squad and infrastructure that allowed them to continuously compete at the highest level? Yes.
City would have a lot more sympathy if they’d openly admitted to inflating their revenue in protest to the current systems in place in the league.
