The new MacBook Pro looks nice but that redesign is LONG overdue and the inflated price is not doing it any favors. Will probably pick one up in 1-3 years, with a better M-series and a more sane cost, once the "AI" bubble finishes its implosion and stops ruining everything. 🤔

Sometimes, you just want to turn your brain off for a while and watch kaiju wreck stuff, and each other. This did the trick for me. Not great, but not bad either. At one point, Kong gets a bionic fist, and does exactly what he should with it. 👊🤣👍

As someone who proudly calls Pittsburgh home, I feel compelled to say, RIP Donnie Iris. "Ah! Leah!" and "The Rapper" are both great songs but for me, his quintessential banger will always be "Love is Like a Rock." If you've never heard it, give it a spin. 💿🎶🙂👍

The whole "Kindle Unlimited" to "Kindle+" rebrand is interesting, especially given the inclusion of audiobooks in the US. Mine should all be available if anyone would like to give that a try. Curious to see what comes of it. Will we all start saying K+ instead of KU? 🤔
I know there are more than a few 2026 speculative-fiction books that have done better than "The Nemesis Legacy" this year but the fact is, there are a whole lot more that haven't. Thus, a big thank you to everyone who's helped make that happen.
