🥇 The first non-binary athletes to compete at the Summer Olympics were @TeamUSA's Alana Smith and @TeamCanada’s @TheQuinny5. 🎙 But Smith had an experience where they were misgendered by broadcasters. ➡️ "I stand on the shoulders of so many amazing queer athletes," said LeDuc.

Hey screen reader users. Some #a11y pros recommend one h1 on a page identical to the title attribute. Others say that is redundant and there may be situations where it makes sense to have a new h1 for each section. What do you prefer?

Still not vaccinated in Toronto. Am blind. Haven't left house in a while. Just a reminder that some of us literally haven't left Lockdown since November. That's all

Looking to talk to an expert in AR or VR for a class (product, design or dev would be great.) It's a bit of a quick turnaround but if anyone knows anyone please send them my way. It should be a 15/20 min quick conversation.

So, @instagram's inaccessibility finally pushed me to download Tiktok & I have zero regrets! TikTok has an #A11y setting to turn off MOVING THUMBNAILS & it's amazing. Not to mention they have a regular tap-to-pause function so I can actually read the comments! #ADHD #PSH

Hey @InVisionApp, the promo graphic on your landing page almost made me throw up. Without a pause, I can't even read the content over it. Moving content should be able to be paused, stopped, or hidden for Accessibility reasons. Please don't make people barfy & add a pause #A11y

If your studio has a budget for usability research, get in touch with these folks! Their feedback informed a suite of accessibility changes to #HyperDot. (2/2) @melly_maeh @mikesahyun @onehandmostly @RikaxNipah @SadieDoes @ShellELittle @Sirens_Moon @thedisabledgame @wolfesbrain

ND: #ADHD is forgetting something the second it's out of sight. It's so frustrating! NT: Lol like everyone does that. Once I forgot to make an app for a month! ND: Yeah but what about forgetting to pay your electric bill for so long you get your power shut off? NT: .....oh ND: 🙃
