Source says that Jalen Hurts actually got sleep after leaving the hospital in the middle of Saturday night around 3 AM London time and was able to sleep at the team hotel until the Eagles left for the stadium around 10:30 AM and then he was able to get another hour of sleep at the stadium before the game started. Jalen referenced getting some rest at the stadium at his Wednesday press conference.

with everything falling apart in Philadelphia, the Eagles sitting at 2-4, Lane Johnson retiring and now the unfortunate news that Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season, I think the 49ers need to make an aggressive move and try to capitalize on the situation. John Lynch needs to pick up the phone and see what it would take to get DeVonta Smith. He’s only 28, signed through 2028 and would be a PERFECT fit in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. I’d offer Philadelphia a 2027 first-round pick and a 2028 third-round pick. That should at least get Howie Roseman’s attention. McCaffrey, Kittle and several other key players aren’t getting any younger. This championship window isn’t going to stay open forever.
