the beauty about art is that you don't need a formal degree to pursue it. you don't need to fully understand the science behind the physics, anatomy, or physiology. if nothing I teach makes sense, you can always rely on going back to drawing for fun and doing what's comfortable.

this is an incredibly effective way to understand the difference between a "form shadow" and "cast shadow". many (east) asian artists will hyper-differentiate between the two and assign large hue variations to get a blend of cold/warm within the SAME value grouping.

moving clavicles and shoulderblades. literal soft thighs. leg and arm folds in for maximum bending. torso can fold and tilt well. but the magical thing is there's realistic limits to all of the movements. so you can give this to anyone and they can make a realistic pose
