New Agent Mastery System // #VALORANT Agent Mastery is a new progression system that recognizes the time and effort players put into their favorite Agents. By simply playing an Agent, players earn Act and Lifetime levels that unlock Agent-specific rewards, and get new ways to show off their dedication in and around the game. • Act Levels - A seasonal progression layer that resets each Act. Players can unlock temporary Portrait Upgrades – visual UI modifications that showcase their current investment in an Agent. This also serves as an easy way to see who’s been prioritizing specific Agents at-a-glance during the Agent Select screens. • Lifetime Levels - A persistent progression layer that reflects a player’s long-term investment into an Agent and grants access to an Agent-specific rewards track. • Mastery Points (MP) - A new progression currency that contributes to Agent Mastery Progress. MP is earned based on time spent in matches with bonuses awarded based on factors such as performance and match outcomes. • Agent IDs - A new customization and recognition surface where players can equip earned modules, including stances, backgrounds, and tracked stats, to personalize their Agent ID and appearance around the game. What about previous Agent Gear rewards? • With the launch of Agent Mastery on September 22, Agent Gear will transition into the new Agent Mastery rewards track. Players will keep everything they’ve already unlocked, and all existing Agent Gear rewards will remain available to earn through the new system. We’re also adding new rewards for every Agent at launch, focused on giving players more ways to celebrate and showcase their investment into their favorite Agents.
