The best research tool in the world doesn't help if a teacher can't get their students to it.
What's next: an "easy button" to real data and compute for scholars at every level. TAs. Instructors. High school classrooms.
Here's to the next sixty. 💜

#MemberMonday: 30 years of Michigan's first and only bachelor's program dedicated to Native American Studies.
Congrats to @NorthernMichU's Center for Native American Studies! The anniversary year kicks off Sept. 25 with the Indigenous Perspectives Symposium. 💜
An idea that can't reach the resources it needs doesn't fail. It just leaves.
What's next for Merit Network: an easier path to advanced computing and data for Michigan's researchers, students, and spin-offs, so ideas stay, grow, and hire here. 💜

Big welcome to Merit Network's newest Member: Keweenaw Broadband Cooperative! 💜
Locally governed. Locally maintained. Revenue going right back into the network and the community.
That's the Keweenaw taking care of the Keweenaw.

In the 1960s, an MSU researcher discovered cisplatin, one of the world's most important cancer drugs. Licensing revenue has funded @michiganstateu research ever since.
Now the new @MSUFound $20M headquarters carries his name: the Rosenberg Center. 💜

60 years ago, three universities linked their mainframes and asked: what if we shared?
That question still runs Merit Network. Next up: advanced computing, data, quantum, and AI within reach of every Michigan lab, classroom, and startup. 💜

Picture a machine shop. Now picture a screen: toolpaths in Fusion 360, parts measured against engineering prints. That's modern CNC machining.
@FerrisState is one of two Michigan hubs for America's Cutting Edge. Free training, one week, no experience. 💜

Getting connected shouldn't mean guessing where to start. The Digital Opportunity Enablement Map (DOEM) puts Michigan's public WiFi, device lending and repair, low-cost internet, and digital skills classes on one map.
Offer any of these? We'd love to add you. 💜

⚠️ #WatchOutWednesday: that QR code might not go where you think.
"Quishing" hides phishing inside a QR code — often on parking meters, menus, or a sticker over a real one.
Pause before scanning in unexpected spots, and check the URL before entering anything. 💜
