We are always grateful to organisations who offer opportunities to support young people wanting to get into business!
Thanks @FBC_Clerkenwell @meritorg @DigiPovAlliance for the laptops you are offering to give away this coming Christmas. Looking forward to positive news! 🥰
It was great to see real interest in tackling the #digitaldivide from corporates like @CityFibre, @Ciena and @ZyxelUK. We can't wait to hear from your #ESG departments. #ConnectedBritain #connectedbritain2024
Best that I heard at #connectedbritain2024 was from @emmawestonDU @digitalunite "It would be great to see Internet Service Providers developing customer services departments that are trained to provide support and speak the language of the #digitaldivide"
2nd year @ #ConnectedBritain. Great to hear about #digitaldivide. Missing representation from #repair #reuse orgs. As the UK becomes the world's worst offender of #ewaste and lack of #digitalskills strongly affects our economy, let's connect #ewaste with #digitalinclusion.
We are changing the strategy!
If we want to maximise computers that cannot run Windows 11, we need to use Linux. We will soon be launching a new course for community centres. #Linux #computers #digitalinclusion #digitaldivide

A big thank you to @meritorg for supporting this year's #EndDigitalPovertyDay! By changing how we handle e-waste, we can reshape how we treat our planet, making digital poverty a thing of the past.
