How I made $16,000+ on Meteora LP in 17 days
This is fee scalping, not holding
Here's the exact strategy, straight from on chain data
Wallet 1 of my 30 → 500 SOL challenge
(797 positions, 53s median hold):
The numbers:
- Net PnL: +188.96 SOL (Fees: +415.88 SOL)
- Win rate: 84% (Avg size: 20.8 SOL)
- Profit factor: 1.92 | Max DD: -25.9 SOL | 15/18 green days
The setup:
- Fresh memecoins vs SOL (bin step 100, 1-3% base fee)
- 96% Spot shape, wide ranges (1/3 near the 70-bin max)
- Max 3 active positions at a time
- 91% of trades closed under 5 mins (~7 re-entries per pool while volume is hot)
One-sided vs Two-sided:
- One-sided SOL (68% of trades): 28s median hold, 42 bins avg. +55.9 SOL, 3.0 PF (profit factor). Cleanest setup with minimal downside.
- Two-sided (32%): re-opening the same pool with leftover tokens (~24% token), 2.3m hold. Brought in 71% of all fees (+80 SOL), but avg loss is 2x avg win due to token risk.
What actually worked best:
- 1-3 min hold time: 81% WR (win rate), 2.7 PF (profit factor)
- Wide 61-70 bin ranges crushed tight ≤20 bin ranges (3.66 PF vs 1.19 PF)
- Bin step ≤80 pools printed 7-9 PF
- 5% fee pools lost money

October is over and the gains are slim. My more recent losers and a few winners on @MeteoraAG
GTA6, LAUNCH, FLOAT and HERMIT.
GTA6-SOL: 3.5 SOL spot, trending up all day, then straight out of my range in a few candles. -$176.45 in 4m. Two narrow positions on the bounce won some back: +$20.99 and +$23.78.
FLOAT-SOL: two wide spot positions, +$21.58 and +$12.35. Then narrower at the high, and I closed too late. -$67.31.
LAUNCH-SOL: bid-ask down to -50%, protected while it ranged at the bottom until it fell out. -$60 over 13h
Tougher end to the month on DLMM on @MeteoraAG taking out some more of my gains. Got a few more clips like this I will post before tallying up the month.

3.5 SOL, bid-ask -50% in the 100 bin step 1% pool. Open 13h , closed -16.40%.
I actually made some gains on LAUNCH before this, but they were very slim. It was around 2.5M market cap and ranging a bit, right at the bottom of my curve, and I was just about in profit at that point. Bid asks are good when it ranges like that. It can only be 1 or 2% down even at the bottom of your range, so you're kind of protected. You do need that pump though. Once you get into the lower bins where most of your SOL is swapped, it's very easy to stack up the losses. I closed very shortly after it fell out of range.
To be honest the fees were not the best on this coin at this stage and the risk was just too great for the reward. Not long after, the coin totally rugged.

Survived Rugtober! A lot of lessons learned this month. Fast in-and-out was the main strategy, most losses came from chasing re- entries and overstaying, except for my biggest win from holding a multi-day position on Bordr. On to the next 🐒🐒🐒

This has been a hard month for me, made way too many mistakes. I was travelling a lot while still doing my LP. And the worst mistake is that I was trying multiple new strategies with new tools that I was testing.
In the end I got rugged after rugged. Well lesson learnt.
Dont try new strategies live right away, or at least try with small amounts of capital. Then try to LP less when travelling cos obviously I dont have all my tools available when travelling to choose the right coins and making the right decisions.
