Ahhh, what’s that noise? It sounds like LaMelo Ball, Jonathan Kuminga, and the Wolves said it’s WINNING TIME. A masterful final 8 minutes in Houston to lead the Wolves to victory. Ball was brilliant down the stretch after a rough first three quarters. The defense was ferocious!!
My wife and baby are sound asleep but all i want to do is howl at the top of my lungs. What an effort by the Wolves battling it out in Houston all night long vs. a very dangerous 7-1 club. A big win to move to 6-3. What a fourth. What a finish.
LaMelo committed 3 fouls in 24 seconds. Then came down and drained a triple to tie the ball game, then hit two free throws to tie again. They’ll need everything out of Ball to close this one out.
It’s been a good one in Houston. 25 lead changes. Wolves go back to the starters with 8 minutes left, down 92-91.
Wolves right with the Rockets heading to the fourth trying to hand them their first home loss of the season. 26 points off 18 turnovers has been key. Ayo, Jaden, Bones leading the offense.
Wolves bench giving them good minutes, led by a quick 10 points by Bones Hyland. On the flip side, Reed Sheppard has been a problem for them off the Rockets bench.
Chris Finch talking about Jonathan Kuminga and Trey Lyles on @KFAN1003: "Both of them are doing everything between the cracks you need them to do."
Credits the front office for landing both of them this offseason.
On Kuminga: "He's been a godsend and everything we needed."
Finch on Ayo: "He started the season solid. He was good and was easing into it. When Ant went out, we needed him to be more aggressive. It kind of kick-started his season. He's a luxury to have because you can play him in all different ways. He's really like a player and a half."
Wolves move to 5-3 in 112-100 win over Bucks, led by their backcourt: LaMelo Ball (34 PTS, 6 rebs, 3 assists) and Ayo Dosunmu (19 PTS, 12 rebs, 8 assists).

Bruno Caboclo was two years away from being two years away.
Joan Beringer is two years AHEAD of being two years away.
LaMelo is averaging a career-high 4.3 fouls per game and hits the bench with 4 more fouls tonight. Something to monitor as his foul trouble is a nightly thing right now.
