Alaska has only about 740,000 people, and he admits it would be easy for Washington to forget about them.
Trump didn't forget, because on day one he signed an executive order telling every department to unleash Alaska's energy.
Now they're getting a massive gas line that the governor says will save and transform the state for the next 50 to 70 years.
He says no president since Alaska became a state in 1959 has come close to doing what Trump has done.
Democrats spent decades locking up Alaska's resources and treating the people there like an afterthought.
