Was this really going to be the last MGK Day?
Honestly? There was a pretty high probability.
But after a sudden downpour destroyed much of the equipment it destroyed the special setlist mgk prepared. BUT there was NO way Kells and the team were going to leave us with that ending.
Things have a way of righting themselves.
MGK said it best: “Victory and defeat are twin lovers. They need each other.”
So instead of focusing on what went wrong, look at what came out of it. Look at the amount of EST who fought through the rain, stuck around, and were rewarded with an unexpected, heartwarming acoustic guitar set. 🖤
It wasn’t the ending anyone planned.
But somehow, it became exactly what we needed.
A little music. A little magic. And that familiar, homely feeling we all needed on MGK Day. 🖤
