In the short term, the only way to remove Netanyahu from power is through a partnership between Jewish-led and Palestinian-led parties. In the long term, the only way to achieve a sustainable peace in Israel-Palestine is through a partnership between Jewish Israelis and Palestinians (in whatever political framework they both choose). If Eisenkot has the courage and conviction to follow in Yitzhak Rabin's footsteps, he could form the first partnership, and then begin to create the conditions necessary for the second partnership to eventually emerge.
