Here it is, the supporters shield! Champions of the regular season. At some point I will reflect on what this season has meant to me, but for now, the job is not done.

Congratulations to our very own Michael Nsien (@michaelnsien) on helping Nashville SC clinch the 2026 MLS Supporters’ Shield. The former Nigeria U23 defender, who previously managed FC Tulsa and coached the USA U16 and U19 national teams, continues to make his mark in American football despite being overlooked for the Super Eagles coaching role. 🇳🇬🇺🇸 🫡

Credit goes to former Nigeria U23 star Michael Nsien, who built the foundation of this team and guided them to the U20 World Cup.
Now coaching MLS side Nashville SC, his influence is still clear in the Yanks’ dominant performance. From what he told me in 2023, I have no doubt these players will not only shine on the world stage but also go on to enjoy successful professional careers. 🫡
