“Unleash creativity and artistry. Yes, AI can help us manufacture monotony, but it is also the greatest creative catalyst we’ve ever had. This matters more now because when everybody and their mother is building something, it is going to be harder and more important to differentiate. The interfaces of today, chats, charts, CLIs. — No way is that the epitome of great interactions in the modern era. There is so much more we can do and so much more we should do to make things feel generative, alive, responsive, dynamic. We can literally talk to the computers. It is time to invent new interfaces. It is time to invent new aesthetics. The best practices have not been written yet. We get to do that and now we have the tools to do it.” - @lil_dill
If we only use AI to make the things that we already make, just faster, then we're definitely missing out on the most interesting part. From my talk at @lennysan’s Summit, here are four ideas for raising the ceiling, not just the floor: - Have a point of view [5:38] - Encode your standards into the machine [9:07] - Don't confuse done with good [12:21] - Unleash creativity and artistry [16:19] Full talk here: youtu.be/GLvFTMtw4Jk?si=-5Ts…

I wanted to send a friend a reel without Instagram showing them my profile. Every “Copy link” on IG, TikTok, YouTube and X tags the URL with your account. So I built Hyde. Paste the link in, or tap Share → More → Copy Clean Link. Trackers gone. TestFlight: testflight.apple.com/join/et…

I ran my links through a popular link cleaner first. It said “no tracking detected.” So I built my own. Starting with these four and adding more. Hyde isn’t a UTM or ad-tracker cleaner. It’s for the social apps that turn your shares into profile suggestions. Instagram is the worst. No setting to turn it off, no warning when you share. Nothing. TikTok hides it in the short link itself. tiktok .com/t/… has nothing to delete. Your friend taps it, TikTok redirects them, and your token rides along. There’s an opt-out, buried in Settings > Contacts and location. YouTube at least tells you (“Sharing as you”) and has a setting. It’s still on by default, and they just renamed ?si= to ?is=. X only tags links copied on the web so far. The app doesn’t. Yet. Hyde doesn’t keep a list of bad tags. For each app it keeps only what the link needs, so a renamed tag still gets stripped. No account, nothing collected, runs on your phone.

I liked the new Claude Code background so much, made it a live wallpaper. 😁 It's a two-pass WebGL2 renderer: a wind/noise field pass, then a glyph-atlas pass. Had Opus port it to native Metal. ~1 ms of GPU per frame, and 0% when covered. Custom colors, tap ripples..

Important note regarding Grok @Bot: Going forward, @SpaceX will use the best back end model for any given task, including Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, Suno and other leading APIs. Whatever is most likely to give you the best outcome.

Everyone ships a UI sound kit. 14 sounds, 50 sounds, same tap on every site. So I built one that generates them procedurally instead. Never the same kit as anyone else. Trained on thousands of curated sounds, remixed by engines that learned my taste, synthesized live in the browser. More on how it works below.

We built an agent that powers our company's internal operations called @𝚟. Every day-to-day job at Vercel now involves @𝚟. It's growing exponentially both in daily interactions and token use. One can extrapolate to the day AI agents run entire companies from here. It's an expert in finance, comms, docs, marketing, engineering, business analytics. It's seeded by the skills we gave it and we update, but it's also constantly improving. It already keeps memories and personalized workflows and schedules on a per-user basis. For example, I knew skills.sh hit 1M skills and I shared this on these forums because I asked @𝚟 to periodically check and remind me. It's powered by and is also the basis for the design of @eve. We built this, it works fantastically well, we think every company should have it. Before you @ me, I know you could also do this by picking your 'BigAI slack integration' du jour. But that's not your agent, that's their agent. If agents become the foundation of (and even synonymous with) modern companies, you being in complete control, from source → runtime → data → token, seems like a pretty big deal to me.

A weird experiment I've been trying the last few weeks is having Claude take over day-to-day maintenance of our apps. Seeing early signs of life that this might be possible. The setup is straightforward: we have a Slack channel called proj-claude-maintains-apps. In it, Claude Tag runs a bunch of daily routines across iOS, Android, Desktop, web, CLI, and Agent SDK: - Crash fuzzer: open the app in a simulator and tap around to find ways to crash it, then root cause and fix the crashes - Dup unifier: scans the codebase for similar-yet-slightly-divergent abstractions, and puts up PRs to unify them - Dead-code remover: removes statically unreachable code, and adds logging to suspected dead code to check if it's really dead and if so, remove it the next day - Abstraction police: fixes leaky abstractions - a bunch more.. Results have been surprisingly positive. Over the last few weeks, these routines have opened 388 PRs across our repos, 180 of which we merged after Claude Code Review + human review. We're now thinking about how to streamline this to make merging these kinds of mechanical changes easier. Claude generally gets these PRs right on the first shot, and if it doesn't, we ask Claude to tune its routines so it's better the next day. Sometimes it takes a few days of tuning. To try a similar workflow, ask Claude Code or Tag, or create some routines directly at claude.ai/code/routines. A few of the actual prompts I used below. Has anyone experimented with similar workflows?
