Here is a major problem.
Many don't want the truth, and dont use it properly.
Let's take this midterm. Why are so many people outright lying? Because that is what people view and interact with, 1. But also because they think they can trick motivation.
People who think their side has no chance become less motivated. But also people who think their side will win no matter what are less motivated. Especially those who dont follow politics.
So it becomes marketing and mind games. The people chose this, unfortunately.

Okay, so, does that mean that a bunch of these crazy people do in fact need to be slapped and/or punched? Is the lack of corrective violence part of the problem?

If you are listening to someone that is complaining about Illahn Omar being raided, then stop.
We obviously want more politicians to be investigated properly, more of the crimes to be revealed, and corruption to be broken.
So, investigated everyone for all I care.
Muslims, we will not tolerate what is happening in Europe. Islam is incompatible with Western society. It consistently perpetrates violence. It will not go well for you here. Consider yourselves warned.

Thats probably rage bait.
And they do it because it works.
So instead, probably just block them.
Can we please normalize just blocking the stupid engagement bait, rage bait, and other stupid things.
If a lot of us block them, then poof problem solved. It won't work anymore.

Why do you think ot is that as we got less "accepting" of any violence, society has also become more violent.
Kids cant get in a small fight without people freaking out. But now we have brawls at middle school football.
Can't spank kids, but kids are murdering each other and parents murdering kids.
Can't punch a guy for treatment of a lady, but we have terrible atrocities being committed regularly.
I said years ago, perhaps an amp7nt of violence will always exist. You can either choose to put it under control, or try to stifle it and it will erupt in your face.
Same with pain, pain is inevitable, you can choose to have good kinds of pain, pain that leads to growth, or you will have pain from wasting away.
Most people seemed determined to misunderstand each other, accuse others, and argue against points never made.
This is a time to speak truth, and to fight against the tide.
But do it without joining the fools.
How does one get further in life, and see all the foolishness and terrible aspects of human nature, and then still think that we need more people voting?
If someone isnt able to procure an ID, they cant do much. Do you really trust them to decide who best represents them and will pursue the best outcomes?
Seems to me the more we expand voting, the worse it gets. Marketing wins elections now. How is that a good thing?
