I think the crow is hard for me to discuss because I personally think it is one of the best comics ever made and most people inevitably prefer the movie which makes me sad. I think the movie is a fun revenge flick, however I think it loses alot of the more raw and impacted

Emotion that the book has. Granted the film is still somewhat somber due to the loss of the legendary Brandon Lee, however I still think it loses what really makes the book special. It's very much a "hollywood" version of the book. I also don't think the book gets enough credit

The book while incredibly somber, dark, and perhaps even upsetting, also does have light, in the little girl, a small bit of hope in the detective, and a bright shining light in Eric's memory of Shelly, and ultimately in his acceptance that he is not at fault
