just a really cool time to be extra nice to fic authors in general btw! a lot of us are still going to be writing new and ongoing works for y’all during your break 💫
y’all know i do my multimedia fics SO begrudgingly and with hatred in my heart for embeds lmaooo but maybe uploading stuff here directly would be easier… Thinking Thoughts
also i WAS planning on posting the goalie shane foursome for halloween but do y’all have a preference?

AO3 IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
they do not get paid for any of this. be kind, patient, and respectful to the volunteers who work hard to keep ao3 running, fight against censorship, and protect writers, fanfics, and people’s rights/freedom to write whatever they want, however they want
a reminder that if you read and enjoy something via epub for the first time during this maintenance period it would be reeeeallly nice of you to note that and go back to the online version after to let the author know via kudo or comment
and yeah i DO side eye a little every time y’all moan about ao3 maintenance after spending every other waking hour on this site complaining about fic writers
hr readers (especially those newer to fanfic) kill me bc no, i don’t actually think my fic nearing 100k hits with thousands of interactions is “criminally underrated” and you’re going to give our fandom writers a complex by saying stuff like that all the time 😭😭
it’s fine and flattering to ask for more but oof the never ending cycle of people who think every one shot needs a sequel at minimum… 😩 like thank you for enjoying the universe but the “More” in question is just not really how plotting a short story usually works
