one of the saddest things about ai slop for me is how unappetizing it makes food look
never realized how much irregularity and imperfection make food feel real until i started seeing ai food pics where everything gets flattened into the same over-perfect texture
and the sadder part is that small food vendors using these images might not even realize it :(

xCures turns fragmented medical records into clinical data that healthcare teams can actually use and we wanted the website to communicate that complexity in a way that feels clear, approachable, and trustworthy, without losing the depth of what they’re building

today i learned that back in the 19th century, people in love would use gemstones to spell secret messages in jewelry
the first letter of each stone would form a word:
Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby, Diamond = REGARD
so it was just pretty jewelry to everyone else but to the person who knew how to read it, it was basically a tiny interface for a private message🥺
