Our infrared monitoring has detected significant changes in furnace stack activity in recent days at one of the two ethylene crackers at the TotalEnergies chemical complex. This specific cracker is anticipated to close by end-2027 due to overcapacity challenges facing the ethylene sector.
Additionally, our monitoring indicates that the refinery is preparing for planned maintenance work across various units in the coming period.
