@LloydsBank refused to give me a reason for closing my accounts. The advisor could only submit a 'complaint' to request one.
It can take 8 weeks.
Meanwhile, I cannot pay my bills or access my money. I must wait for a cheque and find another bank.
This is political persecution.
My @LloydsBank accounts have been closed down after 15 years without a single issue. No warning. No notice.
Since advocating for Palestine, I have:
- Lost my job
- Had my medical licence suspended
- Been arrested 5 times and charged
And now debanked.

Almost half of female footballers are considering leaving the sport because of financial concerns or psychological stress, a @FIFPRO survey of about 800 players says. Only 76% of players are always paid on time. 57% have struggled with their mental health.
