It only took an NFL player’s heart stopping on national television, double digit payouts for negligence around school athletics, and a pandemic but Athletics Trainers are in the highest demand we have seen since @go4ellis started. By 2030, they will be the most in demand healthcare provider in the country. Book it. Their skill set allows them to deliver healthcare in any setting which only makes them more valuable. #ATtwitter #natm2023

The edge is in the inputs.
The person who consumes from better sources, gets better thoughts.
The person who asks better questions, gets better answers.
The person who builds better habits, gets better results.
It's not the outcomes. It's the inputs.

There is one young man that I think a lot of us are forgetting to lift up in prayer in the past 72 hours, and that is Tee Higgins of the Cincinnati Bengals. Higgins is beside himself with guilt, and has not left the hospital since Damar Hamlin arrived Monday night.

The immediate action from the athletic training staffs and every first responder was nothing short of amazing.
No matter the level of sport, athletic trainers are invaluable. Thank you for your dedication, preparedness and passion for your craft.

We live in a broken world full of broken people. But isn’t it comforting to know God isn’t ever broken? He isn’t ever caught off guard, taken by surprise, or shocked by what happens next in our lives.
We are safe in His hands.

The first person in scripture to name God is Hagar.
A woman. Single mother. African slave.
She says “I have seen the one who sees me.”
God calls her by name. Abram and Sarai do not.
God has a way of exalting the vulnerable.

The coolest/most unique thing about the AT profession is that it's rooted in the gift of presence. Deeply engaging with the person sitting in front of us. If you remember anything today it's how amazing the gift of your presence is to those that enter your space. Keep showing up.

The protocol specifies that gross motor instability should be considered to be either neurologic or orthopedic in nature.
The issue here is not about following the protocol, it’s about how the evaluators came to decide it was an ortho cause.
That’s the change needed.
