I placed my model 3 order on April 2, 2016. Yesterday, 2 yrs and 5 mos later, I got this. Tell the shorts I’m not disappointed. Tell the fossil fuel industry they have every reason to fear you. This car is stunning and the performance is amazing!

The real story is @Delta wants to monetize your internet data and Starlink would prevent that from happening. Nothing more. Ed made it personal and chose a nonexistent Amazon service that may or may not be available in 2028. The board needs to action. Only Delta flyers suffer.

This is wild. We did our first @DavidMoss drive to Wisconsin from Connecticut. To clarify — we did NOT drive to Wisconsin. We wanted to know if we could get there without driving. That’s right, could our truck drive us all the way. We got in our truck at home. Hit the “start drive” button. We didn’t touch the wheel or pedals or intervene at any point. The truck literally drove us all the way — door to door. 1000 uninterrupted miles. Not just that, with a Grok AI to talk to we were able to discuss options for meals, ask questions about alternative chargers, add or delete stops, and let the car advise us on how best to get there. The AI was available for any topic. All we did was sit, talk, watch the scenery and relax — the entire time. The truck navigated the road, got on/off the highway, and parked at each charging stop as needed. This gave us a moment to stretch, snack and use the rest room. It was amazing. It took roughly 90-120 minutes longer than driving a gas car and probably 8 hours longer than flying. We didn’t need to deal with any crowds or delays and we weren’t fatigued by manually holding a wheel. Pure delight frankly. Like your own private rail car. Total cost was just north of $200. And the myth of range anxiety is just that. If anything my bladder gave out way before my battery. There’s no doubt the future is here now. You should experience it for yourself.

I’m guessing it wasn’t the weather that delayed the roadster event.

Delta’s Ed keeps digging a deeper hole. @Delta

Please explain yourself. Why? You could have @Starlink fleetwide within a year. Or you can wait 3 years and have half your fleet with an unproven, yet to be launched service. And you chose the latter. Bizarre. Loyal Delta flyers deserve better and sooner.

Mainstream media is lost. When they can’t identify a situation for what it was for fear of retribution from whom I do not know, or concern that it doesn’t serve their publishers narrative — what use are they?

Bike Nazis are the most entitled miserable people on the road today. I ride and we used to make fun of the Armstrong crowd in their Tour de France jersey and tight shorts. But these anti-car zealots are an entirely different breed.

As a 35 year AT&T customer, I can’t wait for the day I can dump their ass. You can say a lot of varied things about them — I assure you, disruptor is not one of them.

Straight up. @Cornell can go eff itself. How does any Jewish student or parent willingly pay their ridiculous tuition and be surrounded by this hate and animosity.

Got it. The European mind has difficulty comprehending SpaceX’ iterative testing philosophy. Too bad there’s no European equivalent capable of lifting any tonnage to orbit at the same cost.

The university is clearly at fault here. When a group shows a reliably elevated base rate of a dangerous trait, treating every member as interchangeable with the average Western applicant is poor risk management. You do not need every individual to be violent for extra caution to be rational. Palestinian polling after October 7 is the relevant base-rate data. Large majorities in the West Bank and Gaza, even after years of war, called the massacre the “correct” decision and rejected the documented atrocities. Just the opposite, they celebrated it. That is not a fringe view. It is a widespread one produced by Hamas-run schools, mosques, and media that treat Jews as illegitimate and “resistance” as sacred. Those attitudes do not evaporate at the airport. Western universities and immigration bureaucracies routinely apply the opposite assumption: that applicants are basically like Dutch or American 22-year-olds who happen to have a different passport. This “Western lens” treats culture as thin and individual variation as everything. The Maastricht case is what that looks like in practice. An institution sponsored the visa, the IND approved it under standard student rules, and the video appeared only after arrival. The university then suspended him for safety, which is an after-the-fact admission that the prior screening was woefully insufficient. “Suicidal empathy” describes the pattern of extending the benefit of the doubt to groups whose own surveys and public behavior show they do not reciprocate the same norms on Jews, women, gays, or secular law. Extra precaution is warranted. Tighter social-media review, explicit questions about October 7 and Hamas, delayed or denied sponsorship for high-risk origins is the equivalent of the muzzle and insurance requirements people already accept for certain dog breeds. To be clear, it does not require claiming every Gazan man is a terrorist. It requires noticing that the distribution of views is not the same as in Utrecht or Ann Arbor, and acting accordingly before the person is on campus assures nothing catastrophic occurs.
