على الأغلب، سأنظر أنا كمصور صحفي إلى الحروب على أنها مأساة مستمرة، تتكرر بنفس الأنماط، وتخلف وراءها ضحايا لا علاقة لهم بالصراعات الكبيرة. قد ارى أن الحرب لا تخلق سوى مزيد من الفوضى والدمار. بالنسبة لي، قد تكون الحروب تجسيداً لانهيار الحضارة والقيم الإنسانية.
