Arguing with Korean nationalists is like talking to a wall. They deny or downplay our societal problems and it's just them being offended that foreigners dare criticize Korea. They have a mindset that criticism of Korea is criticism against them and will take it very personally

I'm Korean in some parts of Seoul you can walk and every 5 minutes you will see a plastic surgery ad or clinic. Pale skin, big eyes, thin nose, pointy chin is what they promote. Can confirm this is real. Koreans are just getting mad at this cause they're extremely nationalistic.
