@modlappe we have designed and made a respirator using new materials and new processes, and it has a 20 YEAR shelf life…..that’s a massive win for @DHSCgovuk @Meg_HillierMP and solves a big chunk of procurement (and taxpayer!) problems
Do we like that we paid 5 times too much? No, of course not - but we also understand how this happens @DHSCgovuk facing an unknown enemy, buying in panic mode, with depleted stockpile etc.
They 🔑 now is that we learn and don’t let it happen again.
We @modlappe are contributing a solution to all the issues @NHSSupplyChain faced with respirators - making them cheaper, higher performance, store better, last 10 times longer and 100% recyclable.
