The 2026 midterms are just days away and Democrats are poised to take back control of the House and Senate. We broke down where voters stand and what they hope to see in a Democratic majority in the new Congress.
Pia Dandiya’s laser-focus on today’s most salient issues, and her willingness to work across the aisle to solve those issues, makes it clear why Republicans may be feeling nervous about this race.
Moderates are majority makers because they have flipped not one or two but 50 red seats in the Trump era. The far left still hasn't flipped a single one.

✅Ban partisan gerrymandering
✅Create term limits for Congress and the Supreme Court
✅Overturn Citizens United and get dark and corporate money out of politics
✅Ban stock trading by federal officials
A growing number of Democrats are responding to Republican attacks on immigration and offering a model for how to fight back.

We strongly disagree with the Beacon Coalition’s endorsement of Rogers. We had no knowledge of these plans and are not funding this work. We have been clear since the end of the Democratic primary and said it repeatedly: we believe El-Sayed must win this race because Donald Trump cannot have another rubber stamp in the Senate. Third Way stands united behind our Senate Democratic nominees. A Democratic Senate majority is an essential check on Trump, and we are counting on El-Sayed to hand Mike Rogers his second defeat.
Look back at the 2006 midterm election, and you would see a political environment—and real-world conditions—that look eerily similar to today. There are four factors that mattered in 2006 that are similarly important to understand why Democrats are in the position they are today.
If history is a guide, Democrats are primed to make a large blue wave in just a few weeks thanks to candidates like James Talarico, Mary Peltola, and Josh Turek who are running on a mainstream playbook and offering a clear break from the status quo of the Democratic Party brand.
