Some people will get mad but I'm honored. Text used in a song is similar to text used in fan fiction. My concern has always been "Does it fit or is it random." This is not random. Thank you @Jensen_McRae music.apple.com/us/album/ric…

my one block of JP has mandatory street cleaning, it’s residential only, no streets parallel or perpendicular require it, this happened bc one neighbor abused their relationship with City Hall. Why does @wutrain continue to support this?

Verified by the @nytimes, so will the NYT finally recognize that this is totally commonplace, that war crimes are in fact the only way that Israel can wage war
‘Forgive me, mother. This is the path I chose—to help people.’ These were the last words of Rifaat Radwan, who filmed his own murder in Rafah. He was part of a Red Crescent convoy aiding wounded civilians. The convoy—clearly marked, unarmed, with flashing lights—was attacked on March 23, 2025. For five days, the UN and Red Crescent were denied access to search for the missing rescue workers. When granted entry, they found 15 rescuers buried in a mass grave. The UN and Red Cross have called it the deadliest assault on their workers since 2017. On April 2, the IDF stated that on March 23, ‘several vehicles were identified advancing suspiciously toward IDF troops without headlights or emergency signals,’ and their movement wasn’t coordinated in advance, prompting troops to open fire on these ‘suspected vehicles.’ However, the paramedic’s video, recovered from his body and verified by The New York Times, shows the convoy’s emergency lights were on, contradicting the IDF’s claim and proving their account of the attack was a lie.

Good time to remind everyone that 11 members of the Boston City Council voted YES to accept federal grants to expand the surveillance network that federal agents are using to attack our community. They gave them the tools to do this. (Liz/Julia voted abstain/pres) #bospoli

Boston Globe Media acknowledges that one of our employees, Matt Nelson, has the same name as the individual who self-immolated this week in Boston in front of the Israeli consulate. This is an unfortunate coincidence that has led to misinformation and online speculation. Any comments, suggestions, or implications about our employee in regard to involvement in this situation are untrue and unfounded.

Every month, there’s been a White House planted story (or several) about how Biden & his admin are wagging a finger at Israel. These are just the articles written since Oct ‘23 for the NYT, by chief White House correspondent Peter Baker.

Replying to @PriyamvadaGopal
we lost Zadie when she reduced the conflict in the North of Ireland down to ‘minor doctrinal differences’ that seemingly had nothing to do with British colonialism or the centuries long dispossession and subjugation of the Irish / Catholic population

The scary "book on terrorism" NYPD is using as evidence of criminal intent is an Oxford Press textbook from International Affairs U6387, a course taught this semester at Columbia by Michael E. O’Hanlon, director of research in foreign policy at the Brookings Institution
Pencils, books, laptops, those are the tools of students and what you expect to find on a college campus. But here’s what the NYPD found in Hamilton Hall at Columbia University after we were able to arrest the protestors and agitators for commandeering and barricading themselves inside the building. Gas masks, ear plugs, helmets, goggles, tape, hammers, knives, ropes, and a book on TERRORISM. These are not the tools of students protesting, these are the tools of agitators, of people who were working on something nefarious. Thankfully, your NYPD was able to prevent whatever they were planning and stop them before they could do it. Continue to peacefully and lawfully protest; but know that if you engage in illegal conduct, the NYPD will hold you responsible and hold you accountable—someone has to. @nypdpc @NYPD1stDep @nypd @nypdchiefpatrol @nypdchiefofdept

a desperate activist tells Malcolm X that the situation is hopeless as there are too many powerful interests and too few to oppose them. Malcolm's response is as important today as it was then: "Never let your enemy tell you how many of you there are."
