12 days in as growth lead at @saphyre
been picking up whatever needs to be done and moving pretty fast
so far:
- 3,000+ new perps testnet waitlist signups
- approval-to-trade conversion up from 22% to 45%
- first community campaign under my plan went live today
currently cooking:
- KOL partnerships
- referral program
- *and one thing i’m definitely not allowed to post yet*
still a lot to fix but things are starting to move
went through something similar while doing my MBA few years ago
working 9-5, studying, attending finance lectures to learn about stocks, and trying to keep a social life somewhere in between. kept finding more and more and more things i wanted to fit in
someone i really looked up to told me to start thinking about what i could take off my plate. let a few less important things go and give the rest some room
honestly had no idea what he meant lol. everything felt important at the time
then i burned out
getting older, i’m slowly starting to understand it. there are plenty of things i’d still love to do, but i’m getting more comfortable leaving some of them alone
i’m a little less afraid of missing out these days
Just remembered what we discussed with @0xjawor last week...
It depends on your goals, but if you want different results, you have to do things differently.
You can't find perfect balance and prosper in every aspect of life. For example, I combine the gym, work, university, and playing piano.
And I do want to get really good at piano. I also want to learn how to play on drums and guitar.
But I allocate less than 4 hours a week to practicing piano.
Will I get good at it at this rate?
No.
And I believe the same applies to trading, or any other area of life.
if you’re farming perps, this is someone worth following
been researching a few of these as competitors lately, so this was a useful read
i keep thinking about how perps can give more back to traders through actually using the product. points get people through the door, but i’d like to build something people still want to trade on once the farming ends
worth going through this one👇
My updated perp farming tier list.
Variational and Lighter RH remain my highest-conviction picks. RISEx is moving up my priorities, while Arcus and Entropy are getting less of my capital and attention.
Here’s what changed and how I’m looking at the numbers.
S: Variational / Lighter RH
A: RISEx / TxFlow
B: Arcus / Entropy
1. @variational_io | S
Still my first choice, with the clearest upside in my view.
The farming costs I’m seeing are around $8–10 per point, versus OTC valuations around $40. That’s roughly 4–5x the farming cost at that valuation.
I don’t think it’s too late to start.
December remains my working TGE expectation, partly based on the stronger year-end launch odds I’ve been watching.
I’m also expecting the trading API within the next 2–3 weeks. That’s my estimate, but if it arrives, I’d expect volumes and competition for points to increase further.
For anyone already considering Variational, I’d rather start while the current economics are still available.
My invite (+16% points boost):
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
2. @Lighter_xyz RH | S
Another farm I think too many people are overlooking.
At roughly $2 per point, the reward scenarios I’m working with range from around $10 per point under weaker LIT assumptions to approximately $25 in a stronger outcome.
That’s around 5–12.5x the farming cost under those assumptions.
The final result depends on LIT’s price, the total points supply and how rewards are distributed, but the current math puts Lighter RH firmly among my top priorities.
My invite (+10% points boost):
robinhoodchain.lighter.xyz/?…
3. @risextrade | A
I’m starting to give this one considerably more attention.
The possible major funding round people have been discussing is only part of the picture I’m following. Several other potential developments have made me more interested.
With farming costs still below $1 per point in the cases I’m tracking, I see a potentially attractive entry.
If the funding round happens and the updates I’m expecting are delivered, I can see a scenario with 10–15x the farming cost. That’s the upside case behind my increased focus.
My invite (+15% points boost):
rise.trade/invite/capy
4. @TxFlow_L1 | A
I still like the project, but I’m less convinced by the current farming math.
I traded during the early stage, and the Season 0 distribution expected by October 27 will be an important checkpoint for me.
We’re only in the second week of Season 1, so it’s still early. If the retroactive allocation improves my overall numbers, I’ll be more willing to increase my activity.
For anyone who hasn’t tried it, the new-user incentives and fresh campaigns make it worth exploring the product and testing the trading conditions.
My invite ($50 in fee credits for eligible new users + 5% fee discount):
app.txflow.com/r/TXCAPY
5. @arcus_xyz | B
I’ve moved Arcus down to B.
There’s potential, and the math can look attractive on paper, but some of the team’s decisions have lowered my confidence in its execution.
On Robinhood Chain, I currently see a stronger opportunity in Lighter RH. I struggle to see what would put Arcus ahead while Lighter’s campaign is running.
If you can earn points at a very low cost, Arcus may still be worthwhile. But if I’m choosing between the two, my capital goes to Lighter RH.
6. @entropyIO | B
I’ve also lowered Entropy’s priority.
Some of what I’ve seen behind the scenes, particularly around KOL relationships, has made me less enthusiastic about allocating more time and capital here.
I’ve already done some initial trading and will probably pause for now.
My impression is that a points program may still be some way off. With several other projects offering clearer reward math and nearer-term milestones, I’m comfortable focusing elsewhere.
You can find my farming guides and detailed calculations for these projects by searching my profile.
My current approach is simple: concentrate on the farms where I have the strongest conviction and keep updating the numbers as new information arrives.
Which project would you move up or down this list, and why?
timeline is full of binance, hyperliquid and screenshots of elon trolling CZ today
opened my watchlist and HYPE is the only green one on it
i keep thinking about jeff in that same hoodie. there’s something i respect about someone who seems happy spending years on the same problem, getting the product right while everyone has an opinion on everything
working on @Saphyre has made me appreciate that focus a lot more. there’s always something to improve, something traders wish worked better
shoutout to our devs too. been using this UI every day and still stop sometimes to appreciate how clean it looks
anyway, back to building
gm, been a while since i posted this one
feels good to be building on @SeiNetwork again
thank god for absolutely everything
pretty cool seeing this after spending the last few weeks helping get it out the door
devs are still shipping fixes, traders are sending feedback, and i’m spending a lot of time in DMs getting people onboarded
if you’ve been meaning to try @saphyre perps, reach out. happy to help you get access
Sei Network now has its own dedicated perps DEX.
In case you missed one of the biggest @SeiNetwork ecosystem developments of the year, @saphyre unleashed its official perps product on mainnet on October 22.
For now, the product is invite-only.
Per DefiLlama, Saphyre has already seen nearly $7B in total DEX volume. If its perps offering follows suit, it could drive a whole new wave of DeFi activity on $SEI.
seeing traders use what we’ve been building and share their trades feels pretty good
keep these coming, love seeing the @saphyre community getting active 🔥
i've been testing @saphyre perps and my favorite little UI detail rn is the PnL card
you can choose what to show: ROE, dollar PnL, chart, entry/exit prices, leverage. dark or light too
btw: yes that’s 47 cents 🤡
some whale probably makes more in funding than i do in a month, so comparing dollar PnL never meant much to me
i care more about risk/reward. 1R is the amount you’re willing to lose if your stop gets hit. risk $10 to make $30 and that’s a 3:1 reward-to-risk setup
if i follow the plan and actually walk away with 2.5R, i should be happy with that trade
btw i usually take 25–50% off at +1R, then move my SL to entry on the rest
from the trades below:
+$1,164: took 50% off at +1R
-$387: stopped out
+$32: roundtrip back to entry and stopped me out around breakeven
taking partials means i won’t get the full R on every winner, but that’s how i manage my trades
I've known @stacy_muur for over 2 years, and we’ve worked together before, but never really had a proper conversation until I reached out recently.
That’s when I found out how much work she’s been putting into this. I went through her GTM content in Telegram and felt like I’d found a gold mine.
A few things that hit close to what I’m working on lately:
1. KOL and referral deals: why offering a commission alone often isn’t enough to get good creators interested.
2. Community campaigns: looking past signups to see whether people actually use the product and stick around.
3. Cold DMs: reaching out to people who already follow your work gives you a much warmer starting point.
4. Distribution: how communities and relationships can keep bringing people into a product over time.
If you’re working on growth, go give her a follow and dig through her posts. Plenty of gold in there.
moved all my plants under the balcony to keep them safe
the wind is wild out there. windows are rattling and every now and then i hear something metal crashing outside
all good here so far. power and internet still holding up
friends check in on me every time a typhoon comes around
when you live somewhere that gets them every year, you get pretty used to it. my usual routine is stocking up on chips and beer, then staying home until it passes
seeing this one pull in pollution from wildfires in indonesia has me a little uneasy tho
just hoping the power stays on. big couple of days for Saphyre and i’d really like to be online for them
been grinding at Saphyre lately, so i haven’t had much time to stare at charts
shifted most of my trading to the 12h and 4h. turns out i can leave a trade alone for a bit
credit to @jstin0502 for the ZEC call. elite trader, appreciate you ser🤝
Saphyre mainnet just went live today...
Before anything else, let's give the @madjarevicn and dev team a big round of applause 👏
They've been fixing bugs and pushing for this for months. Not to mention they shipped the DEX UI update right before the mainnet sprint. Absolute monsters.
Want to walk you through how I played the mainnet strategy:
The initial rule was simple: trade on testnet to get mainnet access.
So I planned a small community campaign to get people trading and sharing. I wrote one rule on purpose: green or red, doesn't matter, just share your PnL.
The result: 8,000+ traders made it onto the testnet leaderboard.
100+ of them dropped their PnL cards publicly, green and red.
And the feedback started flooding in. Most of it positive, and the rest made the product better.
Next up: a much, much bigger campaign with a much bigger prize pool. Still cooking. And I'm pretty sure you won't need to be an elite trader to win it 👀
Mainnet is up. If you traded on testnet and still don't have access, DM me. I'll take care of you.
Moving forward, we know there'll be some minor bugs and more to improve. That's part of building in public.
Thanks for playing with us.
@saphyre is going to play a big role in this game on @SeiNetwork

Its not always greeny and shiny out there. Sometimes we go red too. But the fun part? Whether green or red, you still stand a chance to win $100 if you're trading it on @saphyre👇

So, post those PnL and who knows, you just could walk away as winner!!

This is huge! Saphyre Perps is coming soon.
Before you ask, let me share in a simple way:
1. Saphyre is the new name of DragonSwap
2. DragonSwap- biggest Dex on Sei since 2024.
3. It's now building perps for crypto, stock, and FX.
4. Perps is still on testnet and invite-only.
It's important to know:
1. @saphyre renamed itself on 2026-01-28 (by @madjarevicn) before the Perp testnet launch. The team posted and said, 'It pays to be early.'
2. Started giving WL access a few weeks ago and now have almost 7K active traders, 69.5k daily trades, and $450M in volume on the Sphyre Testnet.
3. The team is actively collecting feedback, adding features, and making improvements based on that
Opportunities:
1. The @saphyre Team is going to announce something tomorrow, which can be related to product launch, platform benefits, and community events
2. The $DRG token was pumped 70% in the last 30 days; the $DRG to $SAPH conversation will happen with the perp mainnet.
menifesto-
- Holding and staking DRG gives you funding and early staker status, which will increase your reward.
- Perp trading fees (revenue) used to buy back and reward token stakers.
- The team planned a lot of things for the Saphyre community.
Current status and what next:
1. Perp Testnet is live; trade and share your feedback: perps.saphyre.xyz
2. The spot mainnet is live already and a mobile app is coming soon.
3. No mainnet announcement yet. No DRG to SAPH conversation happening; stay safe.
Your early contribution matters.
small update on @saphyre perps
1. the new UI is genuinely amazing
i’m obviously biased, so try it yourself and tell me if i’m wrong
2. we now have over 5,000 traders on the testnet
last week it was around 400
3. i’m trying cold DMs for growth for the first time
you never know if someone you look up to is only one DM away
