Hello, X! 👋 We’re CapyBio. 🧬
We’re building the GPS for cell engineering.
Our technology helps measure what your cells are and predict how to move them toward a target fate.
Better data. Better cells. Better outcomes.

A central limitation of cellular barcoding analyses has been the loss of native spatial context. With @insitubiology, we developed an adaptable platform for multiclonal lineage analysis that links clonal history to spatially resolved gene expression. cell.com/cell-stem-cell/full…
See you for my next shift in 2028 @Fusion_Conf 😉Thank you for the fantastic conference, as always! #SingleCellTech
The newest member of the Fusion team…@morris_lab !
We couldn’t resist a photo with our wonderful conference chair, who’s matching the Fusion attire perfectly today 💜 Day 3 is in full swing, with many more talks, networking and our gala dinner to come 🇲🇽 #SingleCellTech

New “discrete state” model of hematopoiesis published in Nature Immunology. rdcu.be/eL8oO
We propose a hierarchical model of hematopoiesis where stable “discrete states” serve as key regulatory nodes. With @nsalomonis @morris_lab @BioLegend @CytekBio @NIH @NIDDKgov and tweetless NHLBI and Harinder Singh.

Morris Lab vs @FD_Camargo Lab ⚽️ match for the glory of CellTag vs LARRY. This one was a 'friendly'… next time, reagents are at stake.
Saddened to hear of John Gurdon’s passing. A brilliant scientist, generous mentor, and endlessly curious. When he examined my PhD viva in 2006, he’d just come from doing experiments at his bench - at 73. He shaped so many careers, including mine: cam.ac.uk/research/news/nobe…
Thank you @IdoAmitLab, @AlejoFraticelli
, @leilaperie for putting such a fantastic conference together! Can't wait for the next #EMBO Lineage Tracing Workshop
What an incredible #LineageTracing meeting! Huge thanks to all participants and speakers for creating such an inspiring environment. Looking forward to seeing you next year in San Sebastián- more details coming soon!
Skin fat plays by its own rules.
We trace lineages (CellTagging), classify cell identity (Capybara), and model fate decisions (CellOracle) in our new Cell Stem Cell paper.
It’s not a linear path.

We identify a previously unrecognized immature preadipocyte population and show that Sox9 links proliferation with fate commitment. Cross-depot transplants reveal how both niche and intrinsic identity shape adipogenesis.
