MICHIGAN. FWIW, Haley Stevens’ price for endorsing El-Sayed was something nearly every Dem could agree with:
1. Denounce Hamas.
2. Recognize Israel has a basic right to exist, and
3. Denounce an overtly antisemitic ad.
Instead, El-Sayed uninvited Stevens from his big rally yesterday. So, today she is campaigning with Mike Rogers.

While some may try to write this off as just how politics works now, ballot-stacking should have no place in our electoral process. Run and win on your merits: your views, your policy ideas, and your accomplishments. By contrast, recruiting candidates to manipulate the field and influence voting outcomes is simply wrong. Alaskans deserve the honest truth from Mary and her campaign—what has been revealed is a pattern of lies and coverups and a culture of deception that belongs nowhere in our elections or among our elected officials.

When will there be media/NGO outrage about how Brazil is becoming an “illiberal democracy”? The term gets thrown at every conservative country but rarely seems applied to left wing leaders like @LulaOficial

To those who seek to create positive change in Cuba - now is the time.
The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few; seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA.
Chairman Ju’s actions are putting the U.S.–South Korea alliance at risk. His approach is anti-American, undermines trust, and threatens a partnership that is vital to America’s national security and economic interests.
Accountability matters here. South Korean lawmakers are calling for his resignation.
It’s time to put the alliance—and the interests of the American people—ahead of radical foreign politicians.

Matt @Mowers on Trump campaigning in Iowa...
“Look, I spoke to Congresswoman Hinson just a few days ago. I mean, their internals are showing a tight race, but they’re very confident they’re going to be on the right side of up at the end of the day. And part of the reason you’re seeing a lot of these polls tighten, even the public polling, which I would argue isn’t always as accurate as the internal polling, because there’s just more money to put towards internal polling. They can do a larger sample size. They really know how to look for likely voters. All of that put together, you’re seeing Republican enthusiasm begin to actually creep up a bit. You’re also seeing Republicans come back home. A lot of folks who are maybe not identifying as supporting their Republican candidates, they’re now coming home. The President’s visits are either making them more enthusiastic to show up or reminding them of the stakes in the election, not to mention the surge of money that’s been spent since Labor Day. You know, we were talking for a long time about whether the president’s super PAC and Senate Leadership Fund would put that money to work. We now know the answer. They certainly have. And, because of that, you’re seeing a lot of these races get very close, and that’s why a lot of Republicans feel pretty confident in places like Iowa, where Ashley Hinson has really built a little bit of her own identity as well.”
