I think if you have total control of the government and still lose to election fraud then you deserve it at that point

biggest shock of my night so far is that Texas elects a railroad commissioner and it’s a partisan position?
horrrible advancements being made in election reporting technology for people who only wanted to dip in and out of the results real quick but are now being haunted by them
kind of mad that gothamist didn’t contact me specifically about this, I have SO MANY thoughts

We got your back, New York!

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

I mean I haven’t seen the movie yet but since when was Elizabeth Holmes herself a helpless damsel being controlled by her mean boyfriend and not a spiritually hideous psychopath
“I’m on the train because I get carsick” is honestly a crazy primary reason to be taking the subway in New York
this is such an insane perspective. bike lanes are overwhelming added to areas that are gentrifying but they benefit the food delivery cyclists just as well as the gentrifiers. so we shouldn’t add more to the detriment of everyone?
Bike Lanes Are White Lanes seems like a great book. I just ordered one!
It’s about the racist impacts of urban planning for bike infrastructure, and how affluent white bike bros turned something seemingly good into a weapon for gentrification and displacement.
The author is even a cyclist who supports bike infrastructure.
this implies that all cars parked freely on the street are community property and I’d just like to know where we’re keeping those keys and when I can pick them up
“You can’t store personal property on the street,” said NYPD attorney Matt Russo. “A bike is personal property and a car is not.” buff.ly/OnSsIOK
for anyone keeping score at home, this could not be going worse. it took me three hours, two separate devices, and two different browsers to submit one form as soon as I could, which also means I missed a DOL job fair
almost any time I tried to upload a document, it said there was a problem and to try a different browser or device. got the same error on Edge and Chrome with my laptop and Chrome and Safari on my phone. almost a completely nonfunctional system
