If Congress wants to be taken seriously, how about this: ✅ Members must actually be in the chamber for debates and votes — and stay until the vote closes. ✅ Excused absences? Fine. But show up 90% of the time, like the rest of us have to at work. ✅ When in session: 1 hour for lunch, two 15-minute breaks per 8 hours. You know, like adults. ✅ No more speeches to an empty room — if it’s worth saying, it’s worth hearing. Last night’s vote was left open for six hours. Why?
