Nice to see @paraga and massive a+1 on Birdwatch. Those peer reviewed papers are still online! 🫡
Parag Agrawal was asked to share insights about Elon Musk that the public might not know.
"I have lots of disagreements with him. But I'll share what I think is for founders here, which is what I think the thing you can admire about him.
The urgency and the ability to compress time. And I think having unreasonable expectations of people is mostly a good thing because most people don't understand what they're capable of and kind of implicitly sandbag themselves and implicitly set lower expectations of themselves than they're capable of.
So when simultaneously inspired and pushed with urgency, people can do more than they thought. And I think he can sometimes extract that from people. And when that works, it's powerful."
I too agree with parag elon knows how to compress time and do work in 1 years which would take 5 to 10 years. What your thoughts on these ?

Credit where credit is due: Roblox has added a meaningful new parental safety feature to Roblox. Each week, Roblox now sends a summary of what your kids have been playing. More platforms (like YouTube!) should do this and they do not

I don’t think most people grok just how meaningful and strategic the @Roblox announcements at #RDC2026 were. The Roblox community gets it. It may take some time for everyone else to catch up.
Nicely done, @Roblox

The world needs more play.
At 20 years, we're celebrating the creators who've built the games players spent 29 billion hours in last quarter — across 180 countries.
Today at #RDC2026, we announced: more ways to play (including standalone apps outside the Roblox app for the first time), more tools to build (AI tools on top of the game engine), and more growth—making sure players find what creators have built.

Starting today, we're expanding Roblox Moments and moving it to its own tab in the app. In addition, we're expanding Moments beyond gameplay clips to include content from our broader video creator community.
Moments is built to connect great games with the people who would enjoy playing them.
With Moments, players can capture their gameplay and publish them for others to see. Video content creators can share their own Roblox content directly to Roblox. And creators have a new way for their games to be discovered. As players browse Moments and see a game that looks fun, they can tap and jump straight in to play.
These changes start rolling out today in Canada, New Zealand and Singapore, and will roll out globally over the coming months. Moments is available to age-checked players 16+.
Earlier this month, we shared an update on our 20-year mission to remove the limits on what gaming can be, and introduced Build. Build also begins rolling out today in New Zealand.
For 20 years, Roblox has been on a mission to remove limits on what gaming is – and what it can be.
Today, we're introducing Build – a new way for anyone to create a game on Roblox from their phone. And we’re expanding AI-powered tools for developers of every level.
We're doing this for one reason: The world needs more play.
Play is humanity's oldest technology for connection and learning. Before agriculture, before commerce, before civilization, we played together. And as the world has become more fragmented, the need for play only grows. Our role is to remove every obstacle between that play and the people who want to create it. Faster iteration and fewer technical constraints. And more room to push further than a single creator – or a small team – could have gone in the past.
This isn’t just for studios who've already proven themselves. Some of the most important work in this industry has come from first-time creators – who were often Roblox players first – with a single focused idea.
Between now and RDC, we'll incrementally roll out what we are building to make all of this real – new tools for creators, new ways for players to play, and new ways for people to find the things they love.
We are having the wrong argument. It’s not about open vs closed, it’s about what safeguards we will stand behind to protect ourselves.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

Our vision for multiplayer photorealism is a hybrid architecture merging 3D cloud gaming with AI video upsampling on the edge. The video model and our cloud 3D engine can potentially drive each other bi-directionally, acting as both an upsampler as well as a real-time dreamer, generating parts of the 3D scene in real time.
You can check out an early playable demo here from our Roblox Labs Team. Our video world model uses the Roblox Engine as a programmable harness, layering structured logic, state tracking, and multiplayer participation onto the generative power of action-conditioned world models.
Epic showdown, congrats. For those of you who want to learn more about creating on roblox check out our two new programs: about.roblox.com/newsroom/20…

“I think the most underrated aspect of Roblox is arguably how much deep tech & theories around economics & theories around systems sit underneath it.”
While Roblox (NYSE: $RBLX) does not employ creators, their research estimates that between 2017-2024, Roblox contributed approximately 22,000 full-time job equivalents (FTEs) and $1.62 billion in GDP to the U.S. economy.
In the same eight-year period, it is estimated that Roblox creators contributed $416 million in tax revenue. In just 2024 alone, Roblox generated a total GDP impact of $445 million, up 29% from 2023.

Roblox Jumpstart is a continuous program designed for creators new to Roblox or experienced creators looking to explore new genres or styles. More information here: create.roblox.com/build
Our goal is to empower creators to build things we haven't even imagined yet - whether they are pushing the boundaries of realistic 3D, complex RPG mechanics, or an entirely new genre.

Studio MCP Server now supports full agentic loops, and Assistant can connect to external LLMs via Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). This allows creators to automatically edit, test, and refine their code with AI in plain language on Roblox using their preferred tools.
The simple video shows a full loop with analyze, test, bug found, fix, test, pass.

Birdwatch evolves 🫡
We're launching something new: Collaborative Notes
The idea: when you request a note, AI drafts one — then the community refines it together through ratings and suggestions. You can watch it get better in real time.
It’s a whole new way for the public to work with AI — and each other — to make information more accurate. And a whole new way to contribute to Community Notes.
For now, only requests from Top Writers on English-language posts generate Collaborative Notes, and you must have 2+ Writing Impact to make suggestions. We plan to expand that & shape the experience based on your feedback.
As usual, it’s open-source: communitynotes.x.com/guide/c…
