Ended up overlaying 417k in our main event. Congrats to all the players getting the free value. We made some scheduling errors and dealt with some logistical nightmares. Tough week, but as always, we learn and get stronger. We will continue pushing Texas poker forward.

Major props to @LodgePokerClub for not adding any extra flights and honoring the full garauntee. So much shady stuff in this industry but they have repeatedly shown themselves honorable in this regard. If they say it, they do it.

2022 Lodge series I was seated next to a traveling pro. Their partner had just busted so they were figuring out what to do next and cash was the answer. Soon after it was mentioned that they had found a game with a whale. He was also traveling and they said his name was Bin Weng. – at Round Rock, TX

Fast forward to now and the hunter and hunted both represent the same brand. It’s possible he was just already good and they didn’t realize it. But maybe he wasn’t good and he got there somewhere on the way. – at Round Rock, TX
