I have been listening to this Tulsidas composition by TMK on a loop for some months now. Sheer unalloyed magic. @tmkrishna TM Krishna | Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajaman I Tulsidas youtu.be/p2HxlE-qP_U?si=Qsd9… via @YouTube

Halfway into Luke Kennard’s Black Bag and can’t help wishing the Booker Prize judges award it to this comic gem of a novel that is in a category of its own — not grieving realism, not autofiction, not sprawling historical etc. Just recklessly and unapologetically unique.

ToI Chennai edition 122 pages today! The Hindu clocked 80. Not bad for a newspaper industry said to be in steep decline

Good move! TN govt to have a revenue augmentation committee headed by reputed economist and policy maker Montek Singh Ahluwalia. This panel has been tasked to improve finances of the state by identifying areas of revenue generation.,

MIMP STORY! @DrMohanYadav51 can’t defend this well-known ‘family land scam.’ Since in Indian politics shame has no limit he will continue to be the CM of Madhya Pradesh. In New Delhi since last one year everyone has been talking about the massive land purchases by the CM’s friends and relatives. Good to see @mazoomdaar reporting on it. @IndianExpress

Excellent piece and so very true
My latest #TharoorThink column in the @IndianExpress looks at a cultural phenomenon more and more foreigners are noticing: the reflexive desire of the argumentative Indian for victory, rather than learning, in every conversational engagement. I ask why this is so and why it needs to change

As someone involved in the governance of a small private residential school that has faced what may be politely called ‘recognition issues’, I sincerely hope this is true. Private schools in TN welcome move to end ‘payments’ for recognition renewal newindianexpress.com/states/…
