ARABIAN LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MONSTER EACH WAY DOUBLE LANDED Last to first
Super Saturday's horse racing thread 🧵 Wetherby 1.10 Palamon 9/4 Ascot 2.00 Vanderpoel 9/2 each way Newmarket 2.10 Haven 5/6 NAP Newmarket 2.44 Arabian Light 9/2 each way Down Royal 3.50 Koktail Divin 10/11 NEXT BEST Southwell 5.40 Always Sunny 7/4 I can see PALAMON taking a lot of beating here. He stumbled on the bend finishing second to Tapley at Plumpton and was an easy winner at Southwell before that. He has more to come this season and with a lot of pace on this could fall into his hands. Ben Pauling is struggling for form but his horses aren't running badly and that will turn soon. VANDERPOEL is a nice horse and I can see him making a winning return here. He was progressive last season winning at both Ascot and Sandown and can take his form to a new level this campaign. All the money seems to be for HAVEN and it is easy to see why. This filly by Wootton Bassett ran a huge race to finish second to Musical Times latest. Her win at Dundalk before that was promising and she gives the impression she has plenty more to come over a mile. This is easier than last time and her class is expected to tell. The heavy due overnight and the rain this morning means conditions will be perfect for ARABIAN LIGHT and I can see this son of Kingman going close. He is still lightly raced especially at this trip and he ran well at Newbury when last seen. Freshened up he can improve again and looks good value in the betting. The way KOKTAIL DIVIN won over fences at Aintree was impressive. This horse as an exciting season ahead and hopefully he can make a foot perfect start here. Kala Conti is a very nice horse as well so it should be a good race but I expect them to finish the 1-2 and the rest look up against it including Jacob's Ladder who probably needed more rain to be a player in this. I thought that was a really good start from ALWAYS SUNNY to finish second at Newcastle. The winner Noozhaa looks a nice horse and she should come on plenty for the run both mentally and physically. This is winnable and with Hollie Doyle back from an injury this filly should take a lot of stopping.

DOUBLE POWERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NAP lands again Every yard a winning one
Thursday's horse racing thread 🧵 Fontwell 2.19 Double Powerful 11/10 NAP Brighton 2.40 Quai Louis 7/2 (good word) Curragh 2.47 Metallic 17/2 each way Brighton 3.50 Port Darwin 7/1 each way Perth 4.15 Kado Sacree 6/4 NEXT BEST Southwell 7.30 New Image 11/2 each way Back over fences I'll be surprised if DOUBLE POWERFUL is beaten here. He still has a fair bit of potential in this sphere and has found a really winnable opportunity on return. As long as he jumps well he should have too much for these rivals. I'm hearing good things regarding QUAI LOUIS so hopefully he can go close. He left his debut run behind to run well at Kempton last time and that form has already been franked with the runner-up Brynmair Gold winning in the style of an improver at Goodwood next time out. Back up to 7f with another run under his belt connections are confident he will improve again. Expect him to be well backed and could even go off favourite. I've taken a chance on METALLIC showing more here. I know he hasn't exactly pulled down any trees so far but he goes back up in trip ahead of his handicap debut and there is a good chance he could take a sizeable step forward now. The yard are going well and a 7lb claimer also aids his cause. This is wide open but he appeals at a big each way price. I know PORT DARWIN has lost his way a little but his win over C&D back in August was likeable and he is below that winning mark now. Back at this venue he could easily bounce back and this better ground will also suit so there is enough positives to back him. I can see KADO SACREE taking a lot of catching here. He won his last two over hurdles and was impressive at this track when last seen. He goes over fences for the first time now and under positive tactics might always be dictating here. Berkenshtaaap has a bright future too and I expect the pair to battle this one out. Given he is on a hat-trick I'm pleasantly surprised to see NEW IMAGE as big as 11/2 for this. He impressed springing a surprise over C&D on penultimate start and then followed up having been well backed last time. This mark is still within reach based on his old form and he looks the obvious value play.

HOSEKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect start to the weekend
Saturday's horse racing thread 🧵 Newmarket 12.25 Hoseki 6/4 Redcar 1.42 Charted Course 1/1 NAP Ascot 1.50 Fluorescence 6/1 each way Ascot 2.25 Tenability 11/10 NEXT BEST Redcar 3.20 Satellite Of Love 7/4 Redcar 3.55 Valvano 4/1 each way I was with HOSEKI at Haydock and she impressed winning with a bit to spare. She has now won four from five this season and with more to come again should be able to follow up here. This is a better race but she gives the impression she is on an upward curve at present. Palace Pier colt CHARTED COURSE looks a nice prospect and if he takes another step forward following a wind op he should get off the mark. He caught the eye on debut and then was highly tried in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. He was back to form at Goodwood and with more to come especially over 7f he should prove a cut above these. Tuco Salamanca is the obvious one and he should run well but FLUORESCENCE won stylishly at Ayr last month and has now won two of her last three starts. She is proven at this level already and this track does suit her too as she was only beaten a length behind Maelstrom here on penultimate start. I'll be surprised if she isn't bang there. The money has come for TENABILITY and it is easy to see why. This son of Frankel has won two of his last three and is also three from four at this track. He impressed scoring at Windsor last time and that form has already been franked too. These are some nice types in here but he looks the best of them and I'm keen to keep on side. Night In Vegas is obviously a very smart horse so for SATELLITE OF LOVE to get within just half a length of that rival at Doncaster last time was an eye-catching effort. He should have more to come on just his fifth start and I can see him taking a bit of beating. This is a nice pot to win and he should have every chance. A competitive sprint and it might pay to side with VALVANO for Ralph Beckett. He was back to winning ways at Southwell and is obviously completely unexposed at this trip. If he improves again I can see him following up under Oisin Orr.

AMAZING JOURNEY 🚀 WHAT A WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much the best
Friday's horse racing thread 🧵 Ascot 2.35 Flann Sunna 13/8 NEXT BEST York 2.45 Spicy Marg 15/8 Newmarket 3.35 Precise 10/11 NAP Newmarket 4.10 Desert Smoke 11/2 (good word) Ascot 4.23 Hoseki 15/8 Ascot 4.55 Amazing Journey 4/1 each way Newmarket 5.20 Toastmaster 2/1 I was really taken with FLANN SUNNA on debut. He travelled strongly into the race and always looked in his comfort zone. He really kicked away and went through the line strong. The second Perfect Nation has won easily at Lingfield since so the form has been boosted. He is obviously open to improvement and while this is clearly tougher I think he is an exciting colt going forward. I thought that was a huge run from SPICY MARG to go down just a head to Venetian Sun in the Commonwealth Cup. The form of that race looks decent and if she repeats that here she is taken to get back to winning ways. She is armed with a good draw and has pace around her so should get a good passage into the race and I think she'll take a lot of stopping. At a crazy price Catching The Moon might be value to run into the top 6 or so. bet365 have her for a top 6 finish at around 3/1. I'm surprised PRECISE is a bit uneasy in the betting as I'm confident she beats these. She quickly got back on track after Newmarket to win the Irish Guineas and then the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. She is a top-class filly and getting weight from her main danger Blue Bolt I fancy her strongly to complete the hat-trick. Both Venetian Lace and Venosa should go forward so I don't see it turning tactical and she is comfortably the one to beat. Really good word going about for DESERT SMOKE here. I obviously initially sided with Pure Majesty but now I have been told this filly by Havana Grey is a nice type I have played her each way. Oisin Murphy has been booked for Hugo Palmer and I'm expecting a big run. Obviously not a lot to go on here and she is on debut so don't go mad but I'm happy to share. I can see HOSEKI taking a lot of beating here. She has won her last two and seems to have a really likeable way of going. I was impressed with that Chester win and she has a nice mix of speed and stamina so I can see this trip and track both suiting. She has more to come and looks a good bet to beat Nochebuena who is also improving with experience. I thought we were desperately unlucky to get beat on AMAZING JOURNEY at Epsom. He was impressive at Kempton and then I just think the track caught him out last time. He has been left off an unchanged mark here and this should pan out more favourably so I make him the one to beat. With the drift on Sierra Sands I've had to abandon ship now and TOASTMASTER looks a gamble worth weighing in with. He really picked up well to win at Doncaster last time and his overall profile is looking progressive now. This track will suit and with more to come he could prove a cut above these with Oisin Murphy an eye-catching jockey booking.

TOO HOT TO TANGO! 💃 2 winners from 6 so a poor day but always nice ending on a high. Especially with Royal Ascot tomorrow…
Monday's horse racing thread 🧵 Wetherby 2.00 Machadadorp 11/8 NEXT BEST Carlisle 2.10 Sunlit Sea 11/2 each way Carlisle 3.20 Banderas 9/4 Carlisle 4.23 Velvet Rhythm 7/1 each way Windsor 6.30 Cold Fish 5/4 NAP Windsor 9.00 Too Hot To Tango 9/4 I was impressed with the way MACHADADORP came there swinging to win with plenty in hand at Chester last month. She wasn't missed in the market and is clearly improving with experience. The form has already been boosted and with more to come she should follow up against these. Rambuso Creek is feared but I wouldn't have him this short in the betting and SUNLIT SEA could surprise a few. She had excuses when disappointing at Wolverhampton on final start but given time and now switched to turf we could see a much better performance and the price is right to find out. The money has come for BANDERAS and it is easy to see why. This son of Lope De Vega impressed bolting up at Hexham over hurdles last month and is clearly thriving right now. He also won when last seen on the Flat and should run a big race under Oisin Orr who is a good judge of pace. The market doesn't really want her but I'm still keen to play VELVET RHYTHM. She won at Newmarket and then followed up in gutsy style at Catterick. Things didn't work out at Lingfield but this track will suit and she remains unexposed so good chance of bouncing back in a big way. Well bred colt COLD FISH looks a great bet at Windsor tonight. He has caught the eye on both starts to date doing all his best work late on. With a run under his belt and stretching back out to a mile and a quarter he clearly has plenty in favour now and I think he'll justify favouritism and quite comfortably too. I rate Bridge Of Eagles so for TOO HOT TO TANGO to go down less than a length to that rival at Goodwood was a very good run. The runner-up Morbeh has won twice since so that form has substance. I know she ran a bit flat at Salisbury but this track will suit and she can resume her progress now and looks good value against the favourite here.

First XI lost a close game vs Attock CC mainly due to an exceptional innnings of 152* from Attock’s fourth batsmen. Third XI beat top of the league by bowling them out for 70 in a low scoring thriller 🙌 We go again next week🖤

BLUES AND ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ending the day with a double ❤️
Wednesday's horse racing thread 🧵 Chester 1.30 Wait Geordie 6/4 NAP Chester 2.05 Snow Master 2/1 Chester 3.40 Alaminos 11/4 Kelso 4.00 Thorneylands 5/2 Chester 4.45 Huscal 12/1 each way Fontwell 6.12 La Cadalora 15/8 Kempton 6.30 Blues And Royals 13/8 NEXT BEST I liked WAIT GEORDIE anyway but I've been hearing good things this morning so hopefully he gets us off to a great start at Chester. He only had to be nudged out to win on debut and should improve plenty. I like the horse he beat and armed with an attacking draw looks the one to side with again. It could be a good day for Oisin Murphy as SNOW MASTER looks to have a great chance in the second race on the card. He has only had four starts and was highly tried when last seen so should appreciate these calmer waters and has a fair bit more to come now. I know ALAMINOS has drifted slightly but I'm still confident of a big run. The yard won this 12 months ago and this Pinatubo colt just bumped into one on return at Pontefract. Another couple of strides and he would have won so sharper now there should be no excuses here. Now sent handicapping THORNEYLANDS could come good. He was pulled up at Carlisle and then ran a bit flat again at this track last month but his opening mark looks lenient and he is definitely capable of better. This is winnable and he should go close. Dance In The Storm does look the one to beat but HUSCAL can't be ignored at a nice each way price for Charlie Hills. He clearly needed the run on return at Newmarket and is definitely better than that. If he bounces back to something like his best he could run much better than his price suggests. Flash Man is promising but so is LA CADALORA and if she improves on that Wincanton romp she could have a great chance to follow up against these. Her Flat form was decent and she is bred to keep improving with age and experience. I was impressed with BLUES AND ROYALS over track and trip on return. He was much the best that day and the form has been boosted since. He bumped into Suddenly I See at Musselburgh and I know that rival has let the form down since but I don't think he gave his running last time so I wouldn't put it down too much. He has more to come and back at this venue is worth keeping on side.
