One of my favorite performances of the 2010s was Patrick Stewart in Logan. A beautiful and heartbreaking performance who's final line brought me to tears. How he was able to perfectly convey a broken man who hated himself yet was still a loving father figure so effortlessly 1/

Sandwiches that used to be $5 are $15. Cans of pop that used to be 50 cents are $2. The dollar menu is now the $3 menu. The $5 family size bag of chips is $9. Your free side of fries is somehow $5 now. And people will look you dead in the face and say it's a spending issue

film twitter & their deranged obsession with marvel. they supposedly don't like/care about it but talk about it 24/7 and make everything about marvel...and the fact there are real people on there using patrick stewart's death to still be throwing jabs & be negative about marvel

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld

All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
