RIP Mike Morgan - a great old-school story-getter and fine journalist, trusted by readers and the managers and players who formed relationships with him. Lovely tribute from his long-standing friend @AlanBiggs1 footballwriters.co.uk/editor…

I started with @TheAthleticFC as their Leeds United writer this week. Grateful for the opportunity and excited to dig deeper into this club.
This, of course, is why I joined. #lufc nytimes.com/athletic/6044063…

Any news? Well yes, actually - Saturday was my last game covering #LUFC full time for The Athletic. It's been short and sweet but a really entertaining period to cover a great (and often mad) club (1/2)
You'll still find me at The Athletic, just in an exciting new role - more on that at some point soon. Thanks if you've stuck with us during a bit of a transition period in our Leeds coverage... and see you down the line at a stadium near you #LUFC (2/2)

Daniel Farke watched Leeds throw away a win with a late capitulation at Hull.
They have been warned.
This kind of sloppiness can cost a team promotion.

FT: Hull 3-3 #LUFC
Leeds did well to get themselves ahead, then threw it away. So preventable from the position they were in
Solomon with a curling shot from the edge of the box into Pandur's hands
'94 3-3 #LUFC
Puerta with a surging run into the box, goes down and wants a penalty but the referee says no
'92 3-3 #LUFC
Kamara follows up with a low strike from the edge of the box after a corner. Four minutes added on and some Leeds subs - Guilavogui and Joseph on, Rothwell and Piroe off
'91 3-3 #LUFC
Chance! James through on goal, tries to lob Pandur but the Hull 'keeper heads his shot away. That's got to have hurt when it's this cold.
Hull with another free kick they're going to launch into the area
'85 2-3 #LUFC
