Expanding TRIPP to mobile and a larger audience reach has been a concerted effort for the team this past year. This recent customer review about Kōkua, our AI on mobile was so exciting and validating to receive this week! However, please note that using our app is never a replacement for speaking with a professional during times of crisis or need. While technology solutions can be supportive, real human connection is always the preferred method of supporting your mental health.
The conversation tactics from Vanessa Van Edwards - the conversation expert on @StevenBartlett DOAC pod created such anxiety for me. I felt that if someone engaged with me in the way she was describing I would feel completely run over and find the whole experience way too probing and invasive. perhaps I’m more of an introvert than I thought. It just made my skin crawl.

Replying to @nanea @intangibleai
I have had the good fortune of having worked with amazing people in the past who continue to innovate over and over. @bharatvasan is one of those people. What he and the team @intangibleai are building is incredibly inspiring and exciting!
I built an AI research agent to identify every published study that has evaluated TRIPP or used our platform in research.
I'll admit, I didn't fully appreciate the breadth of work that has been done.
Today, that body of research spans more than 40 peer-reviewed and academic studies, with 34 studies evaluating TRIPP directly across mobile, immersive, and audio experiences. It includes work from researchers, hospitals, and universities around the world studying stress regulation, clinician wellbeing, physiological response, patient care, and digital interventions for emotional wellbeing.
What impressed me even more was the diversity of the researchers worldwide asking these questions. None of these studies prove that we've "solved" mental health, nor should they. Many are early-stage, and much more research is needed to better understand long-term outcomes, broader clinical applications, and where digital interventions can have the greatest impact.
We have never viewed TRIPP as a replacement for professional or medical care. Our goal has always been to build tools that can support people, and we are excited by the opportunity to collaborate with researchers, clinicians, health systems, and the broader medical community as the evidence continues to evolve.
What gives me optimism is that we have an award-winning multimodal platform, a highly engaged and loyal subscriber base, and researchers who continue to see enough promise to invest their time in studying it.
To every investigator, clinician, graduate student, university, hospital, and participant who has contributed to this growing body of research, thank you. Your work is helping advance our collective understanding of how digital experiences may support human wellbeing.
We remain optimistic about the future, committed to scientific rigor, and determined to follow the evidence wherever it leads.
Honored to be part of a new peer-reviewed RCT from @BostonChildrens, published in the Journal of Perinatology 🌌 on Nature Springer. TRIPP was linked to a significant drop in perceived stress among NICU providers, with parents & providers reporting improved mood. Thank you to Dr. Morrison, Dr. Hansen, Dr. Feldman & Dr. Jacobson for this meaningful work. 💜 #VR #MentalHealth #NICU

At TRIPP, we measure how our users feel with every session. Then the World Cup happened. 🧵 England fans +17%. Mexico +27%. Germany… we're sending calming meditations. (Relative changes only — your actual moods are yours.)"
Anyone who thinks the Government needs to regulate tech more, really needs to spend some time on Government run websites creating accounts and even worse - try to get paid. Good luck with that.
am officially convinced that Claude Code is the best ETL engineer I have ever worked with. I apologize to all of my former data colleagues who will be terribly hurt and offended by this post.

The deepest exhaustion we experience is the fatigue of trying to improve. 🛑
This week, use the power of the long exhale to signal safety to your nervous system and rest in the truth that you are already complete.

Just finished a talk at AWE talking about our multimodal AI touch points for mental wellness. During Q&A someone asked if we thought of bringing TRIPP mobile to VR. 😂 @TRIPPVR
The Vulcan Insult still remains one of my favorite disses: Split your fingers into two and point downwards while you say “Die Young and Poor”. The opposite of “Live Long and Prosper.” That being said… I have not had to use the Vulcan Insult in a very very long time.

I am at an AI Healthcare summit and hearing these people talk about how the FDA is thinking about how approve updates to AI healthcare products is terrifying. "We are working on a way to have AI product changes get pushed to the FDA for review before launching." Um... do they know that AI continues to learn and updates products in real-time?
