Every second matters when someone calls 911. The telecommunicators who answer those calls need reliable technology and the ability to connect people with resources when they need it most.
That’s why we’re investing more than $13 million in grants to strengthen 911 services across North Carolina, upgrading equipment and facilities, and supporting the people who help keep our communities safe.

This committee will play a critical role in improving access to care in rural North Carolina, and we are proud to be part of this effort that supports the health and well-being of all North Carolinians.
A new advisory committee made up of over 40 community leaders, health care providers, elected officials and partners will help shape the Rural Health Transformation Program.
With more than 3 million North Carolinians living in rural areas, this initiative uses federal funding to tackle long standing access and delivery challenges. Committee members will ensure this work remains community focused, sustainable and impactful.

Thank you @RepHumphrey! Thanks for having us in the district and participating in this great conversation.
It was an honor to participate in @NC_Governor’s Rural Listening Tour at @LCCLancers. While Governor Stein was unable to attend, it was a pleasure to speak with Secretary Reid Wilson of @NCDEQ, Secretary McKinley Wooten of @NCDOR, and Secretary Nate Denny of the @NCDIT.

Gonna be super annoying dealing with all these UNC fans who used to hate the Patriots with Brady but now love them because of Maye and even more annoying that I'm one of them.

I can think of no one who shaped North Carolina’s recent successes as much as Governor Jim Hunt. Governor for 16 years, he was a visionary who founded Smart Start, raised teacher pay, protected air quality, and created the NC Biotech Center. On a personal level, he was a mentor and dear friend. Anna and I are keeping Carolyn, Rachel, and the entire Hunt family in our thoughts and prayers. May Governor Hunt’s memory be a blessing. He certainly was for North Carolina.

There is absolutely no room in our nation for political violence. Everyone should condemn this senseless murder and call for the better angels of our nature to prevail.

EQV Strategic client, @KPMG , spoke on two panels at last week’s North Carolina Digital Government Summit. KPMG Principal Mike Lutz shared with NCDIT Chief Deputy Secretary Torre Jessup a private sector perspective on public sector technology strategies and needs; and KPMG director Sarah Rodriguez spoke on a panel about how to bridge communication gaps between business and government technology decision-makers as digital transformation changes how the state does business.
And it’s always great to hear from NCDIT Secretary and Chief Information Officer Teena Piccione about her vision for the state!
