Completely false
A DPE doesn't force anyone to sit. The league doctor just has to find they're substantially more likely than not to be out through June 15. That's a projection to grant the exception, not a lockout.
Boston got one for Hayward in 2017 and he was still eligible to return that season, playoffs included, if healthy. Same applies to Cason and J-Dub.
Also, OKC likely won't even use a DPE. They already have three trade exceptions, which are way more valuable. A TPE can bring in a player with any years left on his deal. A DPE is limited to a free agent on a one-year deal or a player in the final year of his contract.

Correct - it means the independent doctor the league hired says these players won’t be back until June.

When asked what he was ordering, he jokingly answered “I can’t tell you, it’s a trap question.”

Steph Curry on his advice for Anthony Edwards after his first knee surgery:
“Yeah, I texted him earlier and you know, my Olympic teammate, we want to see him healthy. I know he’s going through some stuff with the knee, but you just got to do what you can with the rehab. Attack it the same way you do getting ready for games. Get your body as bulletproof as possible, knowing that stuff happen, injuries happen. Keep your spirit right, and for him, it’s a long year, and I know two months will, whatever the prognosis was, he’ll be back in no time. And hopefully he can pick up where he left off because he was playing at such a high level. So, you want to see everybody healthy if you can, and he’s included.”

"Just want to say RIP to Stacey King who we lost recently. Person who I knew when I was in high school out here. He supported our team a lot. His kids went to Stevenson. Just to see him not here today, it's a little sad. And so I just want to say my thoughts and prayers with him and his family. And we miss him"
