Power must remain with the people, not political parties. 🇿🇦
BREAKING NEWS| The African National Congress has lost its majority power and control over @Polokwane Municipality for the first time since 1996
They should be paid according to the number of people they successfully assist per day. Performance and productivity must count! We have become too comfortable with a system where people can report for duty, spend the entire day at work and still have very little to show for it.

"Go and work, as other men do" - MaMkhize hits back at ex-husband Sbu Mpisane over R20 million farm dispute
Businesswoman Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize has broken her silence on her increasingly public fallout with ex-husband Wiseman Sbu Mpisane, accusing him of repeatedly dragging their private affairs into the public domain while questioning his claims over a disputed property transaction involving their former business interests.
In a strongly worded statement MaMkhize addressed Mpisane directly, revealing what she says he received when their marriage ended, including Royal Eagles Football Club, their matrimonial home in La Lucia, Durban, and a fleet of luxury cars.
Her response comes amid a fraud complaint opened by Mpisane at the Durban North police station.
The complaint concerns the alleged transfer of a farm known as Royal Ranch, also identified as Panorama Farm, into the Sbusha Trust in 2016.
According to a statement prepared by National Media Group investigative journalist Abram Mashego, Mpisane alleges that the property, identified in a November 2013 agreement of sale as Portion 59 of the farm Aasvogel Krans No 1226, was transferred into the trust without his knowledge or consent.
He claims he only discovered the ownership arrangements in 2017, when South African Revenue Service (SARS) officials arrived to attach assets linked to tax liabilities involving Zikhulise Cleaning and Maintenance.
Mpisane further alleges that he only became aware that he had been listed as a trustee of the Sbusha Trust in 2026, after SARS contacted him regarding donation tax.
In his sworn statement, he specifically points fingers at his former wife and her attorney, Jennifer Faber.
"I wish to further state that it is my belief that this name change/ownership of my property was done in by my ex-wife, Mabonge Flora-Junior Mkhize and her attorney, Jennifer Faber, all without my knowledge and consent," he stated.
The investigation is also examining the circumstances surrounding the property's financing, reportedly involving approximately R20 million, as well as the roles played by the individuals and institutions involved.
The allegations come years after the breakdown of the couple's marriage, which was once regarded as one of KwaZulu-Natal's most prominent power unions.
MaMkhize and Mpisane married in 1991, when she was 21. Their relationship began attracting public attention through their wealth, business interests and lavish lifestyle, with the couple becoming known for their multimillion-rand La Lucia mansion, luxury vehicles and involvement in football.
However, cracks in the marriage became public in 2018 when reports emerged that the two had separated and were no longer living together.
Mkhize eventually spoke about the separation, explaining that she and Mpisane had grown apart. She described her divorce as a turning point that allowed her to rediscover herself. She reflected on how she had spent much of her life being identified through her different family roles.
"I have been a mother to Andile and Sbahle. I have been Sbu's wife and a daughter of a prominent politician, Flora Mkhize. I have never been myself, Shauwn Mkhize," she said in an earlier interview.
The divorce also brought disagreements over their business and financial interests into the public domain, particularly their involvement in football.
The pair had jointly been associated with Royal Eagles Football Club before their separation. Their disagreements over the club's ownership became public in 2019, with Mpisane eventually being confirmed as its sole owner.
The club later became part of the wider football rivalry between the former couple, with Mkhize going on to establish Royal AM.
Mpisane, a former Durban metro police officer, had also been involved in Mkhize's business interests, including Zikhulise Cleaning, Maintenance and Transport Services, which became central to their public profile and wealth.
Now, with a fresh fraud complaint bringing their past business and property dealings back into focus, Mkhize has taken the opportunity to address what she describes as a long-running pattern of public disputes.
In her latest statement, she said she had remained quiet for years out of respect for Mpisane and their son Andile Mpisane but felt compelled to respond.
"I left you with Royal Eagles Football Club, our matrimonial home in La Lucia and a fleet of exotic cars," she wrote.
"As if that was not enough, you were left with all of this despite never having worked for it. Please now go out and work, as other men do."
She also expressed concern about the effect of their ongoing disagreements on their family, particularly their son and grandchildren.
"My biggest concern is our son and our grandchildren. If you cannot respect me, I ask that you at least consider the impact these ongoing public disputes have on our family. Our son and grandchildren deserve better than to be caught up in matters between us," she said.
Mkhize further indicated that she would not be engaging in a public exchange with her former husband, insisting that the appropriate legal processes should be allowed to run their course.
"I have said what I believe needs to be said. I will not engage in a public back-and-forth. Let the appropriate legal processes take their course," she said.
She added that her priorities remained her children, grandchildren, peace and protecting what she had worked hard to build.
